My ex-wife was a secret drug addict. The divorce was entirely her fault. She even agreed because she felt guilty. She asked for $80K total compensation. The activist (female) judge threw out our consensual settlement and awarded her $500K. Half my life's work was gone in an instant.

My next serious relationship lasted 9 years. We agreed we didn't want to be married. I walked in on her getting railed from behind by someone my son's age in our bed. Obviously, that relationship was over, but you know what didn't happen? I didn't have to share my assets or pay alimony.

Just don't participate. There is ZERO benefit to marriage for men. Even at my age I can land late 20s early 30s women with little effort.

The only winning move is not to play.

Also, men's Reputation will be more fucked.

All they need to do is label you as "incel" or "mgtow" group and you are done. People will immediatly jump into conclusions.

It is cool to be for women, it is cool to be for LGBT, it is cool to be for trans. Being for men's rights? Nah, your Reputation will not be the Same

They act like they are the oppressed, while all the big money is pushing for them, giving them a false sense of bravery.

Also most men's groups got canceled. All it takes is a few men to be hateful for them to justify closing the group. So it is also hard to gather a big protest.

Probably cus most men are too busy doing things that matter for society to protest. Not enough men have the free time to do so, and on top of that most men just want a peaceful life, and protesting is far from peaceful

Agreed MRA has a serious problem when it comes to protesting and I dont get why. Are we scared of being smeared if we speak up?

Or is it literally just that 90 percent of feminists are students with loads of time on their hands and money to burn whereas the MRA men here are working full time jobs (often physically hard ones) and too exhausted to do much more?

Historically it makes sense why women get the treatment they do in family courts and why alimony and child support existed. Long gone are the 1950s ideals of how a home is run and yet those family court philosophies still remain. There are many reasons for this and the solution isn't as simple as simply speaking up.

One of the factors about this is the family law industrial complex. If men were by default treated equally in family courts then family law lawyers become irrelevant and much less needed. In Canada one of the biggest advocates against reform was the lawyers themselves.

Another one of these factors is that law changes slowly and the attitudes of a court are even slower. This has historically been the way it's always been except in instances of wokness. Helping men not get fucked by the law and by the courts is not woke so the courts won't stick their necks out because the public support isn't overwhelmingly there.

Another factor is women. Can you name a protest or a revolution that has started with men? I suspect you can't name many because it's women that start the foundation of anything that gets traction. The Spanish civil War didn't start until the women noticed they had no food to feed their families and that is when shit hit the fan. The French revolution didn't kick off until the women were sufficiently pissed. The draft would be scrapped if women in America stood up and collectively said we will not let you take our boys. When women stand up and say we want men to be treated equal in family court, we don't mind having less that is when you will really see the movement begin.

Men have protested and men have been ignored. There's always a reason to ignore a man as we are simply cannon fodder.

That's marriage.

The implicit agreement in marriage is that you live together and hold your property in common (my wife and I certainly do). And so when a couple divorces, they split everything equally, including sources of income.

There's still quite a bit of unfairness against men that pops up in the family court system, but this isn't part of it.

If she's not worth sharing all your stuff with - and losing half if you separate from her - don't marry her. Simple as.

Because the family law lobby wants to keep those fat checks rolling in and legally bribe politicians to keep it that way, same as with the shared-parenting bills that keep getting shot down in various states.

That shit won't go away until we drastically change the way electoral campaigns are financed, and that won't happen until we get nicer rich people. An amendatory convention is another way to change it, but takes the buy-in of 38 states to make it happen at the federal level, and to this day has never happened.

So, as many here have stated, wrap your weiner, don't get married, don't cohabitate. If you absolutely have to get married, make sure she makes more than you and continues to do so. About our only options...

This is false. Men can ask for half and legally they can. Men that make more than their wives will have to pay them after the divorce. Women who make more than their husband's have to pay their ex husband's after a divorce. Generally speaking with stay at home moms and similar situations, women (on average) make less than their husband's. So women are more likely to win the legal battle.

Because there is a solution, most people are just too stupid to use it. I'm a woman with quite a bit more savings and assets than my fiance. We are going to sign a prenup and keep our main finances separate and have a joint account that we split if anything happens.

If you're too dumb to get a lawyer and just take the base marital contract that comes with the license, which says "split everything earned in marriage 50-50". That is your choice and your problem. Stop protesting. Start educating
