How to kick soon to be ex out of marital home once she takes name off deed…do I need to evict her?

Here is my story. I filed for divorce, but for the sake of keeping the peace for the kids, I was forced to move out of my house -- and it's my house, separate and sole property. Fast forward 9 months we are fully divorced and the house was awarded to me. My exwife needed to move. But she refused to work, and the judge didn't give her any alimony. So she had nowhere to go.

So what does she do? Instead of moving out, she moved her boyfriend and his daughter in. I tried to play nice about it, but my patience wore thin.

After 2 months of this, I basically threatened her and her boyfriend with a legal eviction.

They moved out 2 weeks later.

Should be part of the divorce agreement / judgment and you probably can’t do it until the divorce is final.

Was this housing stipulation not written into a separation or divorce agreement? If yes, execute your plan. If no, go back to your lawyer and tell them what you want. Sounds like you want the house and her to leave. In order to help this lazy women, you could go find her a new place, pay 1 or 2 months rent hire some college kids to move her things out by July 1. That plan helps her and you reach objective.

If your buying her out, it should be in the settlement.. she may want you to rent it to her, but you dont have to. If their was a stipulation for renting it to her, their needs to be a time limit set..

Make the home unwelcome To her. Give away furniture or put it all in storage. Replace it with work out bench , 50 gallon trash for outside can for trash. Smoke cigars. You get my druft

I'm assuming she has residency (her drivers license has that address)?

If this is the case then you would have to evict her. And if you are still going through the divorce process the judge could look on this very unfavorably.

Just try to tough it out until the divorce is finalized.

screw that just do what a woman would do, when shes gone change the locks.. burdens on her then to prove she has ownership. dump all her crap on the front lawn
