I have never uttered the words "red pill" to my man. What I have told him is that I had a bit of an epiphany earlier this year when I read some books and articles that really changed my thinking (and behavior). He doesn't need a label – he's just happy at the turn in our relationship.

No, he knows we share values but I don’t go out of my way to put a label on my thinking. Even participating in this sub. I am just doing me and my values overlap a lot with the content here. That doesn’t necessarily mean that I would take a hard stance in identifying as a RPW.

He disagrees with some of the theory, because he has his own set of principles and strategies that work for him - he can afford to be purple pill, imo. He sees many RP concepts as too harsh or too black and white (or maybe that is just my interpretation of them). I've had to adapt a lot of strategies as well, because they don't work for him. He requires a lot of challenge from me, so eg STFU, is not really applicable in everyday situations.

We're friends; we talk about our interests and our days. I spend time here so it naturally comes up.

He's not aware of the red pill (as in the online teachings/culture around it), but he knows that I participate on an anti-feminist forum, or as he calls it "the submissive women's group."

He thinks the whole concept is pretty funny and when we disagree on stuff, he'll sometimes joke "Ask your womens group and they'll say that you are WRONG and I am RIGHT!" When tell him about some of the more controversial stuff here he says it's guys larping.

That said, I do like to get his take on general red pill concepts, and when phrased in normal-people speak instead of RP lingo, he generally agrees with it.

Yep. Can't call him "redpilled" because he was never "bluepilled" in order to get redpilled, but dual exposure to the world means we use some amusing vocabulary - drawn from MRP - in daily conversation. We both ran across redpill material independently prior to meeting and dating. If he sees that I'm on Reddit he'll ask what the RP women are up to today. If I ever get around to writing actual posts, and not just commenting, you'll have him to thank since he keeps encouraging me to.

No. He knows that I read relationship advice, and our relationship has improved over time. He doesn't know what I read, though. And the best part is that he started following his own sources of relationship advice, from his home country so I don't know what they are. But, they seem to focus on helping men improve themselves meanwhile understand women. I don't know what sources they are however I also feel he's been treating me better since watching them. Every now and then he tells me what he learned, or asks me to confirm. The advice he found goes anywhere from "Pick a woman who supports your career", to "women want to be cuddled and treated gently by their man", to "buy her jewellery to show your appreciation." All of which I've been enjoying!

My husband knows I periodically visit this space, because it's one of the only places for conservative women. I mentioned it when we were dating to see what he thought of TRP, as a vetting strategy. He wasn't into it at all. We talk about some of the posts and discuss what they say about society today. It provides interesting discussion topics. As for following the principles... meh, I take what works for me and leave what doesn't. I'm pretty transparent with my husband about that, but much of it comes naturally to me.

I don't necessarily put a label on the teachings I practise but I've noticed that I do follow RP and my husband doesn't know. Not because I don't want to tell him, more that I don't really label it.

He knows I mostly agree with them, but we're not a traditional couple. I'm starting to follow rp, he's more liberal
