It's hard for me to say objectively as I'm a very late bloomer. I was overweight, had short hair and masculine manners and was always mistaken for a teenage boy up until about 21. Then in the course of two years I got in shape, totally changed my appearance and manners, grew my hair, started wearing feminine clothing, etc. and naturally my attractiveness grew exponentially to what it was before.

I'm certainly a ton more attractive than I used to be, but compared to women in my age range (~25) I wouldn't say I am in the upper percentage of attractiveness. There are a lot of naturally beautiful, extremely feminine women who put a ton of effort into their appearance where I live, so it's hard to stand out. Like you literally go out in the streets and see 8 and 9s on every corner.

However, I am very happy of my progress, people who used to know me are always surprised when they see me now and this gives me enough confidence that I am not unattractive.

Yes. Never thought to rate myself, though. I'm confident in a good way. It's a personal boost to be attractive and at a nice weight, but my confidence lies in my abilities and knowing who I am as a person. I do enjoy clothes and want to look nice.

Nope, I’m so-so! Overweight. Other people like me more than I like myself. I do clean up well, I get approached and complimented by strangers kinda regularly. Slowly, slowly increasing my smv.

Definitely think attractiveness is twofold. Of course some people would look beautiful in a bin bag but most people have to work at it and I think a 6/7 is in reach for a lot of women, which is more than good enough. I’ve increased my attractiveness by getting better at make up, doing my hair, getting braces all with the same baseline

When I was 7 or 8, I asked my dad if I was pretty and he said, "You're perfectly average." As a teenager, my mom would look me up and down and say, "You're not a beauty, but you're pleasant looking, you can get a boyfriend."

Well, it turned out that my blunt Soviet immigrant parents were...correct! I know I'm pretty meh looking, probably a 4. That's the rating that actresses I most closely resemble get on that vindicta celebrity rating sub.

I was a late bloomer and went through puberty when most girls were done with it. I had terrible styling in my late teens--short hair, unflattering glasses, baggy clothes. Just growing out my hair and getting contacts made me look better. I learned to style myself and get occasional compliments on how I dress (never on my looks, though).

In the end, though, my looks didn't stop me from getting exactly what I wanted from life: a man I love and I'm attracted to, kids, a happy family life. So I guess my mom was right, lol.

Personally I always liked the way I looked even as a teen who was a late bloomer that didn’t get much attention. I didn’t get outside validation and grew up quite sheltered, but I somehow had inner confidence.

In college I did freelance modeling (at 5’6” I was not tall enough to get an agency in NYC) and later (at 29) I became an international beauty queen and I won an award for most photogenic. I never really knew how to do my makeup properly until other beauty queens taught me at the pageants, so I was sort of able to extend my prime into my 30s.

I’ve spent a lot of time in high end environments around supermodels and could always hold my own w confidence and positive attitude. Walking into a normal bar or party I was often the most attractive woman in the room. But when your are at exclusive events surrounded by other women who are all on equal footing it’s your attitude and energy that stands out. You could be objectively stunning but RBF would make you the least attractive in the room. It’s about being positive, cheerful, smiling, inviting, genuine. I also go out of my way to compliment other women or their outfits. They light up and it takes the competitiveness out of the scenario. Many beautiful women are actually very insecure so these comments break the ice. Personally I have a unique fashion sense so this also invites others to compliment my outfits and start conversations.

In these scenes I was in a relationship but still regularly approached by men because I was very friendly. I was a singer in a band and at shows men would talk to me and I always made sure I was polite and engaging because they were fans and I wanted to represent the band positively. Many beautiful girls get overwhelmed w male attention and develop a bitchy attitude to keep unwanted advances away. But there is a way to still talk to a man and have healthy boundaries that keep him at a respectful distance or deflect his advances without wounding his pride.

At 35 I’ve done a good job of maintaining my looks via a healthy organic vegetarian diet, lots of clean water, only using natural skincare products (my go to is fresh aloe), exercise, yoga and sun protection. Of course genetics helps, but you can’t rely on just genetics. I met my soulmate this year and we are wasting no time in stating a family.

Objectively I’d consider myself average, slightly above average if I doll myself up. Pics on my Reddit for anyone curious. But I put effort into maintaining my figure and skin to look my best. It’s good to know how to present yourself as appealing as you possibly can because it benefits your quality of life based on how others treat you and how you feel about yourself. Also important in general to look good for an s/o because you’d want them to be proud and happy to have someone they find attractive as theirs

I’m objectively pretty ugly but I wear makeup every day and try to dress nice. I have a very large forehead and deep set eyes, and a long face. I’ve dated objectively good looking men in the past and never really understood why they were attracted to me. My current partner is a cutie pie and thinks I’m beautiful, but he thinks everyone is beautiful. It’s something that used to devastate me a lot, and at times I wanted to commit suicide over it. But I decided to commit to life, even though I perceive myself as a Quasimodo. I do get down still, but not as much as I used to.

I honestly don't know. Everyone around me tells me I'm attractive, but I don't feel like it. I look at models and I don't feel like I look like them.

However, whenever my friends post photos of me on Instagram, they get way more likes than normal (if that's an indication of anything), and when I download dating apps, like for example, Tinder, I get the "100+ people like you" within a few hours (is that normal?). Everyone around me constantly tells me how attractive I am all the time, and it literally just feels like background noise now. Like, I don't think I'm ugly and sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and say to myself, "Damn, I'm good-looking," but I don't consider myself to be like those 1% hyper-attractive people.

I will say that whenever I go to the bars, the most attractive men and even women come up to me to dance with me, and I've personally seen my friends send photos to other people and people that don't know me respond to them with, "Dang, who's that? They're beautiful" in regard to me.

I think I'm slightly more than average, but because I take a lot of time dressing well, keeping up with a good diet, exercising, etc., it gives me an aura of attractiveness that I otherwise wouldn't have. I also have a charismatic and fun-loving personality so I think that helps. I'm also extremely confident, haha.

I would say I (23f) am a bit above average. Tall-ish, athletic with long vavy blond hair. A little flat chested, but I can live with that.

A few years ago I realized that the type of men I would like to attract go for the "sporty" girls. So I leaned into that. My hobbies are skiing, snowbording, mountain biking, road cycling, climbing, hiking,... It helps me stay in great shape, nicely tanned and never out of date ideas. Just calculate in an occasional hospital visit if you are a daredevil or you start dating one like me ;)

I did a little modelling in the past. Found it lead to an over-reliance on my body and an under-reliance on my mind. I now do breast cancer research at a teaching hospital, where I don't think the computers I work on judge me on my lipgloss.

Yes, I’d say I’m a high 8. I’ve got very proportional features, tiny frame but hourglass, long dark hair, pouty lips. If I put on a dress and go literally anywhere I will get a comment, be it from men or women, it’s always a compliment. I’m alternative too, so I was surprised even after all my tattoos how many people look my way. I used to be an influencer of sorts and routinely would have people comment about my looks, despite my content not being about me.

Strangers seem to approach me more than my bestfriends, and they’ve told me as such. I don’t get it, I think a lot of women are more beautiful than me. Growing up I never considered myself beautiful, took being with a good man and a lot of self development to see myself in this light. Was bullied all through elementary and highschool so it was hard.

I will also say I noticed people’s attraction to me is always always stronger when I’m confident and in a positive light hearted mindset. I think a good personality is a driving force too, once someone talks to you, retaining attention is harder.

In my own opinion I’m beautiful, I have the best features of both of my parents. I like my body, it’s active and can do what I need it to do, I feel sexy in my underwear. I attract men I find attractive and more specifically the man I’m obsessed with can’t keep his hands off me.

I feel cringe saying all of this, but I gotta be honest with myself haha, I’m a good lookin gal!

edit to add: I say I had “ugly duckling syndrome” was an awkward kid and teen but turned into a pretty awesome adult :)

I'm totally not in the upper percentage of attractiveness, and I'm not willing to do the things it would take to get there. I'm happy and confident as a solid 5.5 -- which might be why a lot of the women around me seem to rate me higher. But in men's eyes, I know I'm not what's hot. And that's fine. I'd gladly take a 5-6 like me because interesting beats Chad any day of the week.

I know I'm attractive, I can see that I was born with mostly proportional, symmetrical features. I have a very nice figure. I receive social proof mainly from women and children probably because I almost never go out alone, but men are kind to me and assist me in airports or supermarkets.

I don't often feel attractive. I dress nicely, but avoid wearing makeup. I rarely style my hair or wear jewelry. I don't drink or smoke, but don't exercise or put much effort into my appearance. I've spent the last 3-4 years pregnant or breastfeeding so even basic things like skincare are much more difficult to navigate.

So yeah, it's mostly genetic, and that's probably why I don't have much confidence. I know I haven't earned it. I lucked into it. When I start putting more effort in, I think my confidence will build.

I feel very fortunate to have married a man who still finds me wildly attractive on my so-so days, and even my bad ones. He's big into natural beauty.

I've started keeping a beauty routine and dressing well. I'm working on losing the weight. I was pretty in my early 20s but had no idea how to dress or do my hair. I'm better-informed now.

I rank myself 7. It does take effort though. I was blessed with some good genetics, but find I have to help things.

I am taller. 5ft 7in. Hourglass shaped. I am currently heavier than I like, but I nipped it in the bud once I realized I was about to have to go up a jean size. I'm definitely "fat bottomed girls" type. So I am not every man's type - most white men seem to enjoy thin blondes who watch the bachelorette. I'm a "thicc" brunette who drinks beer at Cornhole. You either like me or you don't.

I am well dressed. I focus on quality fabrics and classic looks. My wardrobe is small but mighty. I have amazing hair - truly. Long, thick, holds a curl. I am getting better at make up. And I was not blessed with good nails.... So I have embraced the press on life.

I lift weights 3-4 times a week and I am currently doing cardio every day while on a fatloss plan.

Yes, but I was a chubby awkward nerd from 11-14 and 16-17. Pretty privilege is real. And it affects your personality. You can usually tell when someone has been beautiful their whole life or if they grew into it. At my worst I was about a 4 from poor hygiene, being 5lbs overweight, and bad styling (clothes/hair/makeup).

Now I'm 29 and an 8 through softmaxxing. I was a 7 until 25. It took me a while to figure out what suited me vs what was trendy. If I got a bad haircut or dyed my hair an unflattering shade and then wore a frumpy outfit I'd drop back to 7. Weight gain seems to tank smv the most in my case. Being bmi 17-19 and toned gives me the most attention.

Imo there are some women are naturally 8+ but most are pretty girls who put effort in their appearance. It's a mix of bone structure/genes and care. While not every well dressed slim woman is a 7-8 and not every chubby 4 can become a 7-8 with weight loss for the most part a woman's beauty is highly controllable.

Yes I am. I was an awkward looking lanky preteen for a while but one day in eighth grade all the boys started talking to me and I now know why (my chest came in and I was blessed with size there). I did the beauty pageant circuit when I was a teen and early 20s (though I wouldn’t advise women to do it now) and always got attention for my looks. Now I’m turning 40 in a couple weeks but people think I’m in my early to mid 30s. In fact I keep getting turned down for VP level promotions at work because they think I’m too young for the job compared to my peers who also apply and even though they look at my résumé and can see my years of experience, I appear youthful. That part is annoying.

I think what’s made my looks work is having natural looks, the curvy shape, and a girl next-door look that’s elevated/more classy than an actual girl next door but not overly heavy on hair and make-up. I take care of my hair and make up but nothing high maintenance.

Id say I’m attractive, slim figure (130), tall but not too tall (5’9”), mostly symmetrical features. People tell me I’m pretty often and have my entire life, I’ve never felt out of place in my body and have always generally liked it. My main downfall is I have really big cheeks, so my face is rounder than what is considered fashionable these days. Think Monroe instead of Kardashian. Also I have small breasts (34 B) so my bust isn’t a show stopper. But I have a really nice butt and ridiculously long legs.

All in all I’m happy with how I look. I could use a visit to the hairstylist though, this mane of mine is wild.

I’d say I’m a little above average. Definitely couldn’t be a model, but I think I’m fairly attractive. I have a very nice figure that compliments me in all the right places. I’d honestly say I’m a 6-6.5 which I’m not satisfied with. I have some good facial features but some not so good features that drag my attractiveness down a level or two. I’d be content as a 7 and I’m working towards that as I’m hoping it will open my dating pool to more men that I’m highly attracted to. I was bullied all the time when I was young, but never for my appearance. I’ve been called graceful, pretty, cute, “like a model”, etc. Blonde, blue eyed, 5’9”, size 0-2, etc. But I have also been called “mid”, so objectively I’d rate myself at about a 5 or 6. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all.
