Hey all, about a year ago my wife told me she wanted to separate. Almost a year to the date she told me she's done talking about our relationship and will only communicate about day to day stuff, kids, bills etc. I took this as my time to start worrying about me and my 1 blood/underage daughter. We have known each other for roughly 26 years, and of those been together for roughly 20 of them. Married almost 15 at this point. About a week ago she mentioned that we should discuss separation of finances. Tonight the topic came up again and I told her that I had created a new account and next month we should separate them. I also told her that at that point I would start to pay her child support, mainly because I know she can't afford to pay half our bills. Now she's super passed and hasn't responded. Was I wrong to bring this up? She keeps wanting to buy things to make her room more comfortable. I mentioned a few days ago maybe we wait til after winter to sell the house to make it easier, but mentioned how it could become awkward. She agreed. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. I didn't want this divorce, she did. Any advice would be appreciated.. Thanks
