A 22-year-old man who had his penis lopped off in a botched circumcision at age ten has had a compensation award of £500,000 reduced to just £20,000 after the Malay government successfully appealed against his claim.

Negating the award on appeal leaves the victim with nothing but victimhood.

He knows he was supposed to have a healthy, functioning penis. He knows he was supposed to get £500k to compensate him, and the system stole both from him. He was denied any sense of justice.

That's potentially a dangerous position to leave a person in.
