Summary
The #1 most upvoted post of all time in this subreddit is about an engineer getting fired from Big Tech for explaining how men and women differ in the work setting. It's worth contributing my parallel views for female-dominated industries like healthcare, the most female-dominated industry on Earth. >75% of its employees are women, which has direct effects on your mental & emotional freedom, testosterone levels, and paycheck.
Body
The point of this post is to explain why working in female-dominated fields like healthcare and education limits men from living fully liberated lives in the West and to keep younger guys from making uninformed career decisions that they may regret. I'll list my points in a way that’s graspable by men aged 18-25. Many of you just started college:
1) Every club, group, organization, company, corporation, and nation whose policymakers are mostly women always loses its productivity, innovation, societal prestige, and income over time. The 2 most female-dominated industries are healthcare and education. It's no surprise that in the past 20 years, both industries have seen rising employee burnout and consumer costs while their product quality has decreased or stayed the same. And for the first time in American history, >52% of medical students, >75% of PA students, >56% of dental students, and >64% of pharmacy students are female. These percentages get higher each year. If you're a college-aged man who seeks financial freedom, it's the worst time in history to join these fields. Mark my words: 20 years from now, being a doctor will carry equal prestige as being a schoolteacher.
2) Corporate administrators and CEOs are incentivized to employ large numbers of women in middle management because they know that females in middle management serve as a natural ceiling to limit individual productivity and potential income for male workers who are naturally inclined to compete for professional and financial rewards. The female middle management serve as professional “speed bumps” in the rat race which procure the essential capitalistic inequity in a company's resources. Some of the reasons for this are listed below.
3) The average man speaks 7000 words per day, but the average woman speaks 16000. This difference can manifest painfully in the workplace, since most of the words women speak are unnecessary for the job at hand and just serve to cognitively overload the brains of the men who actually do the hard work. These extra words will also emotionally drain you.
4) Women are adept at creating unnecessary red tape and extraneous tasks for employees in every industry that they dominate. I don't need to explain this one further—You guys know all about constant re-certification, HR training, and endless paperwork that you have to fill out. The male-dominated fields have less red tape to sap you of your time and money. Nobody wants to slave away their evenings and weekends glued to their email except for women and betas who enjoy creating nonsensical busy-work to keep their pseudolaborer status.
5) When it comes to landing highly attractive FWBs and LTRs, men working with men do much better than men working with women. Why? Because men who work in male-dominated jobs don't have their emotional energy drained by women all day, and can afford to maintain their game and frame to fuel their relationships. I'm not saying you can't lock down a baddie if you work with women, but it'll be harder than if you worked in a male-dominated field. Even if you're dating coworkers.
Example for the younger guys: None of those slim-thick nurses shaking their asses on Tiktok are banging guys in healthcare.
Example for the older guys: Nearly every female doctor who's a bombshell with a low body count is an LTR for a guy working a male-dominated job. The reasons are detailed below.
6) Men who work in female-dominated fields have worse game than men in male-dominated fields. The guy who works remotely from his laptop ironically has an easier time cold approaching at the grocery store than the guy who works alongside women in the workplace. Why? Because a guy who works with women is subconsciously trained to talk to them like they're his equal, which is what you're not supposed to do. Or worse, they treat her like she's above him because he works under a female boss.
Example: Remember Dr. Alex George on the show Love Island? The girls on the show thought he was weirdly friendly and felt no tingles for him despite that's he's a chad doctor.
7) Men in female-dominated workplaces are trained to stifle their masculine style of speech and humor as well as their innate creativity by conforming to their restrictively effeminate workplaces. Many must speak in an unnaturally tame and docile manner, even going so far as slowing down their speech and adding intonation to sound less threatening to female coworkers. If they instead speak with a terse and monotone style like how mechanics talk to each other in a car repair shop, they'll be seen as 'unprofessional'. Their Frame is entirely controlled by women, a reality which worsens the higher they are on the prestige ladder. Whether you speak to a male high school principal, orchestra teacher, neurosurgeon, or lab technician, you can feel their diminished energy levels. Their livelihoods and paychecks are governed by estrogen.
8) Speaking of paychecks being governed by estrogen, a doctor in Texas once publicized that the reason women get paid less than men is simply because their work output is lower. He lost his job for this and apologized, because if he didn't apologize he'd lose his credentials and future pay (Google search “Dr. Tigges sexist”).
9) Speaking of hormones, your testosterone goes up when you're surrounded by competitive men or attractive women, 2 archetypes which are rare in healthcare and education compared to jobs in business, sales, marketing, entertainment, tourism, finance, the military, politics, or athletics, etc. The energy of a female-dominated workplace is similar to a children's daycare or a preschool—As soon as you walk in and chitchat the employees, you can almost feel your testosterone dip to the levels of a middle-aged father holding a newborn baby. Trust me, you don't want this as a young man; You need to feel like you're winning battles and conquering enemies daily.
10) If workplaces were like gyms, then the female-dominated ones would be Planet Fitness. In these environments, 'everyone is welcome', 'everyone is a winner', and everyone is validated for being who they are without any motivation to change. Ever notice how easy it is to get a job in healthcare and just about anyone can be hired? The barrier to entry for these jobs is uniformly low and they naturally end up attracting people who have a very minimal desire in self-improvement of any kind.
Example: Walk into any hospital and notice how many people whose entire career is improving people's health are themselves obese and plan to do nothing about it.
11) 100% of the men in healthcare who say they love their career and wouldn't pick any other job are bluepilled—As in they tend to be low-key feminists, believe in signing a marriage contract with an American woman, and believe the government has their best interests in mind. This correlation alone should concern you. The men who love these jobs are the most idealistic and least distrustful in all of society, the complete opposite of everyone in this sub.
12) Yes, healthcare jobs pay well, but the pay is seldom worth the arduous training/education and the stress of the work itself, and will decrease over time as I explained in point #1. What men 18-25 don't often realize is that the goal isn't to make money, the goal is to maximize money earned per unit effort, a metric which is low in every female-dominated field (with the only exception being OnlyFans because female beauty carries inherent value).
Conclusion
Young men want sex and financial freedom, but working with women may ironically make it harder to get either one. If these are your goals, it's better to join a male-dominated field if you're still young and making career choices.
