Vetting is important because you need to choose a man who values a woman beyond her physical appearance.

Men who only value youth/beauty often end up “simping” for women which reduces their value as men.

A man who values traits beyond youth/beauty (personality traits such as nurturing, maturity, grace, etc.) will still be attracted to you even when the youth and beauty start to fade.

Wife googles are a thing. A man who has been with the same woman for a long time views her still at her best. While beauty does fade to some extent sexual attraction isn’t just based on beauty. It involves things like charisma/personality, feelings/connection, and sexual availability. Men don’t view us on the same way we view ourselves. They’re usually much more forgiving (unless they have issues like porn or sex addiction, repeat infidelity, etc). Those things actually rewire the brain.

Look at the Reddit posts of Hollywood celebs in their prime vs at 50. Many women age gracefully are are still extremely beautiful. The wall does impact things but a lot of the wall is a mental attitude.

You can say the same thing about rp men and how can they be happy when a woman will always want to upgrade with a richer, taller, smarter man. How they aren’t enough.

Instead both partners need to have a perspective of being content with their lot and grateful for what they have. The grass isn’t greener. Many men leave long marriages for a younger woman and regret it. It doesn’t end up working out well. Same with women who leave a good man to go have fun and “find herself “.

And women offer a lot more than just a face and body. They offer companionship (which you may not understand now but is important when older), a partner (domestic or 2 incomes), a caretaker, etc. Femininity is a powerful tool. Men crave a soft place to land. The comfort of a good wife is priceless.

Imo if he told you that, that’s taking it way too far. I wouldn’t want my partner to think that way. Yes, we age and there is beauty in our youthfulness(which imo extends far beyond 23), but as long as you take care of yourself he should continue to find you beautiful as you age together.

Engaged Guy chipping in; we like women for their looks, and love OUR woman for who she is. My girl is not the "best looking" if I were to go and categorize women on a sliding scale. But she's a part of me at this point & I hope she & I grow old together because she's certainly the most beautiful person I know in more ways than skin deep. If he loves you, then all you have to do is grow with him.

You got some good advice, but I want to focus on this statement. This is like saying "One day I will inevitably DIE, then what? This upsets me so much."

I mean, yeah, you will, but so what. In addition to vetting,, may I suggest not thinking about this stuff? Let it go. One of the main causes of unhappiness for the pilled (men, women, red pill, black pill, this pill that pill) is so much damned overthinking. Reading, thinking, analyzing, worrying, intellectualizing, writing, more reading, more thinking, arrrgh, stop. Most everyone here would be a little happier if they were just a little...dumber.

At best, all this thinking is for very confident people or people who are older and settled in life. You're not confident or settled (and whether your older red pilled boyfriend is helping you get settled is a different issue).

Enjoy your youth, focus on finding a good man that you love and respect, be good to him and to yourself, and let the pieces fall where they may.

There are studies that show most men find women in that age range most attractive, yes. But most men won’t actually date women in that age range when they’re past even 35ish.

Look, a 22 year old man objectively looks better than a 42 year old man or a 62 year old man. Every damn time. But you aren’t going trying to date 22 year old men your whole life, for lots of reasons.

You want a man who is fiercely loyal and understands that both of you will objectively look “worse” as you both age, but you are both committed to loving and cherishing each other. There are many older couples who remain attracted to each other and keep the romance alive.

This man you’re dealing with sounds like a slut (for lack of a better word) with poor integrity. He wants to excuse his wandering eye and probably a desire to cheat. Otherwise, why try to make you feel bad about your inevitable aging? Why try to make you accept that he’ll be wanting other (younger) women? I’d move on from this one, personally. A man who loves and respects you will want to make you feel secure.

Will you always be attracted to famous, successful, powerful men? Of course you will, it's normal. It doesn't mean you'll abandon your man to chase after them.

Two strong appeals to men: sexual appeal and femininity. These days women dial up hotness to the max and neglect feminine grace. my suggestion is you do the opposite. Dial down the hotness to a smolder and dial up the feminine grace to achieve enduring beauty

I'm not RP, but I've heard RP men and RP women are different and that RP men are not who RP women should be dating.

Take for example, "Fresh and Fit"-very popular among RP men. They said men should be allowed to cheat on their wives because of their biological imperative to spread their seed and their libido tends to be stronger, etc, but their wife must remain faithful.

You don't have to "accept" anything about such ideas. If a man loves you and is traditional he will remain faithful. I hate that low class men(frankly) are categorized as Alphas in RP theory because they could get sex at one time or another in their life. The thing is, for those young men that could get women, their sexual value and attractiveness decreases with age. They age out too for a lot of those young women they still want. They have to settle for less physically attractive women or desperate women.

Plus how many men could actually truly even be Beta Buxx to allow his wife to stay home? Not many. Only 1/10 American men make 6 figures or over. Any man with money is rare, much less an all around Alpha. A lot of RP men talk about how they "deserve" this or that and don't even live up to that potential. The Alpha with money is extremely rare. RP men theory makes it seem common and it's deluding a lot of people.

It’s the latest form of brainwashing, meant to cause division. It draws men in by appealing to their prejudices against women and with circle jerk rhetoric that make them feel like The Man no matter what. Fertility dips for everyone around age 50, not just menopausal women. We all begin emitting old people smell AKA nonenal oil in our 40’s and 50’s. When I was 21, a 41 year old got obsessed but I couldn’t stand his scent.

this is a mix within peak attention and ''peak birthing performance''.

there is a chart going around, which shows that the peak attention that most women have from men (18-60) is from 18 to 24-25, after that it starts to fade away (hitting ''the wall'' around 35, which is the lowest amount of attention). the birthing performance is pretty much self explanatory, but basically the peak ideal age for women to have kids is within those ages (outside obviously the women who can have some kind of illness)

the only women that have a hard time with this are the ones who have gone pretty much their ''best'' years getting their way with it (no disrespect intended, cause you might be the exception because you don't understand it).

let me give you an analogy: do you know war veterans. two friends who went to war, fought like hell, got trauma, and so on.... they get separated for decades. have you seen the video of veterans reunited?? here is an example, see how they act... it is almost as if nothing changed (that they are still the young men who fought)

now bringing that towards this, replace the two men with you and your husband/bf and the war with life... and the way they behave with something called ''wife goggles'' (and i'm pretty sure some women here have listened to some older widowers said the best of their wifes). in the end, men want to grow old with someone, not just trying to imagine what would it look like. and, even tho that might have changed, there is a high chance for a woman, to not be ''tainted'' (aka high body count, feminist mindset, etc) between the ages pointed by you... although with exceptions, which are sadly the minority (the legit ones, not the majority who are just women that are running back to the back up and be willing to do whatever it takes to not be left alone)

18-23 being the peak of a woman’s life is complete nonsense. our brains aren’t even finished developing. maybe I was more youthful, but I was a complete dumb*** around that age. I did not have a mature mentality at all. I was constantly making terrible choices, had no self esteem, and no assets or skills that I could offer to a serious partner. He might be telling you he’s red pill, but a lot of men are using red pill ideology to cover up their terrible biases and misogyny. 18 is NOT the peak of your youth or beauty. you do not crumble to undesirable dust at 24. I feel more attractive, well dressed, and intelligent in my mid 20s. And a real “high value man” would not be attracted to a partner that is not at least his intellectual/emotional equal. I know beauty is important and has it’s advantages but a woman can be beautiful into her 30s and beyond. And plenty of men find women their own age the most attractive. We live in a highly pedophilic society, and it puts such trash into men’s brains. If porn wasn’t widely available and socially accepted, I think men would naturally find themselves attracted to all kinds of women for different reasons. not only women who fit this hyper sexualized 18 year old college girl stereotype.

There’s 40 year olds hotter than ever due to skin care, diet and playing up their genetics. Meanwhile yes absolutely there’s some extremely young knockouts but women today are just different.
