Why is the cold approach advice here so basic?

Your mind has been brainwashed for many years telling you women don't like men, sex, they don't like to meet strangers and that you have to be a rich asshole to have a chance with women.

On the surface this seems pretty convincing. All you need to do is look out of the window and that's what you see. Dig deeper though and try to determine what is the advantage of a rich guy who works 80 hours over you? He doesn't have any time to fuck his hot girlfriend and is constantly traveling and busy in meetings. But because he is successful in the eyes of society, he gets permission to be a confident asshole and get a hot girl.

You on the other hand don't have any social success and therefore must feel like a loser nobody. Because if you feel like this, you too would be motivated to work 80 hours a week producing wealthy and consuming endlessly to finally allow yourself to have a hot girlfriend.

In the meantime, your years of brainwashing will stop you from doing the most normal thing in the world. Express your interest in a woman you are attracted to. Instead you have been brainwashed to think it requires hard work, magical abilities and dashing looks. This is such a tall order that you may as well give up. And so the world goes on with one more average guy defeated. This way the hot girl you wanted will be reserved for the next asshole who sacrificed his best years to produce wealth.

Cold approach is just having a conversation with a stranger. If you are an awkward weirdo when doing that normally, then yes, it's going to be weird when you approach an attractive woman. However, if you can strike up conversations with strangers on a plane, with the bank teller, with the cute barista, with any stranger you normally talk to, then it's not "cold approach." It's just having a conversation with a stranger, which is the most natural and normal thing in the world.

It really doesn't matter much what you say, words are only the small part of communication. There is your voicetone, your posture, your gestures, your smile, your eye contact, your positioning, your emotional state, your whole appearance...

As it comes to cold approaching, imagine you are just walking down the street and you see a beautiful girl and your intuition is just begging to get to know her. Why would that be considered weird?

You are overestimating the charm factor.

Cold approach is very shallow when you think about it.

You are approaching her for her looks, she doesn’t know you, so she goes by what she sees.

Which is looks.

This is why the argument that cold approach is better than OLD doesn’t make sense.

In cold approach, you can get rejected before you even start talking. Like OLD not getting the match.

Because, in and of itself, cold approach is basic af. As soon as you add other seduction techniques to it, it's no longer cold approach but just "approach". Which is what all the other stuff in this sub is about.

It’s basic because the main thing you need to approach a woman is a great vibe. That’s honestly it. If you’re enjoying the feeling of being inside yourself own body she’ll feel it and will gravitate to you.

Any other techniques or whatever that you might read are nowhere near as important as this.

Your """problem""" is that probably you are affraid of doing it so you keep on reading and reading more tricks and techniques and stories, etc. looking for that piece of info that makes you think "oh, this is it, this is going to work and it makes me feel safe". But that doesn't exist.

Also, you can't avoid some people think you are a weirdo, so make peace with that. If you want to approach people and talk to them (not just women), you have to accept you are going to meet a lot of cold reactions, rejections, etc.
