I think this is a great way to get the night started right. Remember, you can say anything to a girl if you're confident.

I do this kind of thing all the time. I compliment girls on the street if I like their hair or are wearing something cool.

One time I saw a sexy older women in short-shorts and heels. I could see she had a wedding ring on so I didn't want to hit on her per se.

Instead I just openly checked her out for a second, looked her in the eye and said "you've still got it." She busted up giggling and said thanks.

I think most people are getting the wrong idea from this... I don't think he means this is a routine to open with. It's just his way of getting over approach anxiety. He's not expecting anything to come from this other than getting into that zone! Nothing more. I don't see why anymore would need a field report for something like this. It wouldn't be for everyone, if you don't like it, don't try it! If you do, go out and give it a shot. What's the worst that could happen?

Actually this sounds like it may work pretty well for AFCs with AA. Even though I would probably change the line a bit. Say something spontaneous and genuine. Complement and walk away. Like... Hey, I love the perfume you are wearing. Walk away. I bet if you do just that and nothing else enough times, the same girl will open you later herself.

This is the kind of content this sub needs more of. A real and practical technique that I can use TONIGHT.

For those who want to change the wording, I like this line because it sounds so extreme. You give a girl a huge, genuine compliment, and then evaporate, leaving her to wonder if you were kidding or not, flirting or not, etc. The point is, you're on her mind. And if she doesn't care and forgets you immediately, well then you've lost nothing and broken your AA. You win no matter what.

Heh, I used this one time on a pair of birds, I was completely over the top, falling over myself drunk and not really looking to pick up at all. Walked up to two girls having a drink on a higher end patio, excused myself into their conversation adn just threw out

"I just wanted to let the two of you know that you're absolutely stunning and I hope someone has told you that recently."

There facial expressions went from "annoying drunk" to "OMG I love you" in about half a second, I walked away and made out with some other chick 10 minutes later, definitely made me feel like the shit so I dig what you're saying

While I think it's noble, I think 'ejecting' or 'pulling the chute' is a really redundant endevour at the bar. I understand AA, everyone has it, but if you're at a bar for pickup, you should be practicing pickup. I see far too many guys trying this, starting a conversation, and just pulling the chord, despite the fact that in many cases the girl would actually be willing to continue the conversation. The whole point of picking up women is picking up women. If you have really bad AA, try this on your way home from work with anyone and everyone. Give compliments to strangers and be on your way.

I want to say this, it's okay to throw one back now in hopes to land a better one later, but far to many beginners and even intermediates who eject, eject just for the basis of the exercise and not because the conversation went to shit. Which hurts their game. This suggestion works if you can't talk to people, but after that I'd strongly discourage its use. Just grind away at a regular conversation and go into it with zero expectations (that includes the expectation that you're bailing).

If it works for you, great! For other people who doubt it, give it a try, then criticize it. I personally dig it. One thing though, if there's something particular about them more than just general beauty, feel free to also point that out.

For most guys, I think one of the biggest obstacles to get around is figuring out that you don't always have to say the right thing as long as you say it the right way. I've learned that you can say pretty much anything as long as it's somewhat funny or a tease. By throwing the "don't ever change" at the end your making it obvious that it is somewhat of a joke while still being able to pay her a genuine compliment. Repeating her name first goes a long way with enforcing the sincerity. All the while, all she is thinking about is how you just made her laugh. "Aww...Thanks" followed by a big smile is the response I get to this 7/10 times. (Probably used it a total of 50 times over 5 or 6 nights out.)

As for using it as an actual line, I had NO real expectations of actually picking any girls up with this line, however, over the last couple of weeks it has become my go to intro. Once you get the smile, it's pretty easy to continue with intros and ask a couple of generic questions, throw out a couple generic jokes and after about 30 seconds you're gonna get pretty strong signals one way or another as to whether you actually have a chance. Half the time, I pull the chute simply because I realize I don't want to talk to her for 5 minutes and I have the confidence to easily duplicate the situation multiple more times throughout the night.

I sometimes do something similar to this. I'll park a little far from the club on purpose so I have to walk a few mins to get there. Then I'll just compliment girls walking in the opposite direction on my way to the club. I don't stop to chat, I just compliment and keep it moving. Good responses guaranteed, make them feel good, makes me feel good, pumps up my state, etc. The only downside to this is that if it takes a while to get in the club or if the stimulus from the club alters your state, then you have to pump your state again inside the club. To minimize this, I get on guestlist and arrive early. Plus with less people in the club, I get this feeling that I "own" the place. Much easier to have a good night this way than arriving at 12:30 to a packed club completely out of state and in your head.

This is great. I think there is too much emphasis in this community placed on avoiding general compliments like "you're beautiful." The reasons why make sense. You don't want to supplicate yourself and fawn all over a girl. But at the same time, women love compliments and it feels good to give them. Complimenting girls won't get you laid, but it can generate good feelings towards you among people in your surroundings which in turn gives you social proof. I don't see anything wrong with complementing girls as a way to get momentum going. If you approach it from a confident state of mind, and don't supplicate yourself, it can be very powerful.

I find this kind of approach generally works better for me than aloof the David Deangelo cocky/funny style that everyone seems to copy in the community. It better suits my personality and I have had success with it.

I already know if I did that to a girl she would just laugh at the loser standing in front of her and be met with her fabricated spittle spraying my face and a strong swift toe-pointed kick nailing me square in the balls as she dumps her drink on my head and calls security to drag the scum away from her as I lay bundled and defeated on the dirty floor. I can taste the acrid floor cleaner bleach as security kicks my head down angrily ordering me to lay face down on the way out the door as I'm not allowed to even look up on my destination to the gutter where I belong. I hear the acrimonious laughter of all the girls in the club and all the normal dudes confirming what a relief it is that that disgusting freak of nature has been removed from existence.

That's what it would feel like anyway since the chances of trying something like this is zero on the Fahrenheit Celsius and Kelvin scales.
