Be prepared that there are a lot of people that will accuse you of misogynism when they find out (to be fair, I'd say that's actually true for ~70% of the community). And thanks to popular media coverage, be prepared to defend yourself against things like "pickup artists use 'negs' to make women more vulnerable to rape". If you're lucky and these things don't happen to you, it's still not good for your game. Does an alpha male need to lurk on creepy internet forums to work on his "inner game"?

I tell them about it at some point. The way I frame it is that it has helped me to become a more socially competent and outgoing person and that it's given me great insight into human interaction. Usually it just leads to great conversations about relationships and how men and women interact.

Once you start hiding things, and it doesn't really matter what it is, you're dishonest with yourself and it will more often than not come back and bite you in the ass one way or another.

Sidenote: I used to hide the fact that I played mmorpgs and I guess it was because I was ashamed. Today my priorities are a bit different, but before I left that world I felt so much better once I actually accepted it. My girlfriend at that time even encouraged me even though she had no interest in it. Interesting enough, this is one of my most successful relationship, leaving the rest in a rather chaotic mess.

All the time. I don't hide things from women, or run from "bad responses." One of the first things I learned in game was how much attraction you can generate by being honest and owning the fuck out of things most guys would be embarrassed of. Seriously, that was practically my "move," telling girls embarrassing shit.

Initially, there might be some worry on her part. Depending on what she's heard, and from who, it has a bad reputation.

But just explain it for what it really is. A way to improve yourself and by extension be more attractive, exciting, etc.

If she just cant accept that, then she's got a closed mind, and not worth it anyways (in my eyes).

I don't know, I'd rather hide that I do this from girls I'm dating, it would probably lead to drama when I have multiple dates lined up.

I get called a flirt, a lot, and I leave it at that, the only person I tell is my friend who hits on girls with me.

It's actually something I tell most girls right off the bat. I don't use the world "pickup artist" exactly. I say something like "the theory of attraction," which I've found most girls find interesting. It says "I like to discover how people think, and learn from it." I've got a few girls this way, too.

Now have some girls found out that I've been posting about them on PUA forums? Yup. In one case, the girl loved it, because I was saying great stuff about her (this was after she grabbed my phone out of my hand and held it away from me so she could read it). She actually wanted me to screenshot it for her because she thought it was so sweet.

In another case with a different girl, she lost her shit. She found out about it, made an account on the website, and read literally everything I had ever posted for the past year. She went ballistic. The stuff I said about her myself wasn't too bad, but it was what everybody else was saying about her. Calling her psycho and crazy, etc. She was furious at me for a couple days and wouldn't talk to me, but eventually she got over it somewhat. She stayed mad at me about it for a while, but oh well. Haven't talked to her in four months (due to another problem), and she's probably still fuming about it.

I never leave my computer open to begin with, nor do I let girls patrol my phone. This being said, I've had girls see books like the cover of "The Game" with all the tied up, embossed girls in lingerie, or covers of, say "The Sex God Method" which is pretty self explanatory.

It's all in how you pitch it.

Before going into it, remember everyone loves a guy with morals, beliefs, and aspirations. Pitch it as this:
I believe there are always places for me to improve. I'm never a finished work — I'm constantly trying to become a better person. Will I ever be perfect? Of course not. But should that stop me from trying? Absolutely not. I want to be the guy almost anyone can think of as friendly and approachable. By improving myself in all sorts of different ways — through books, advice from friends (seddit), or whatever the case may be — I think I can closer achieve my ideal me.

I don't get into the gritty details, and I don't call it "Seduction" or "seddit". Don't let on too much and tell them everything about how you're learning how to touch girls through online forums.

Almost my entire school knows that i'm a modern version of " hitch " that I not only help my inner game but help practically 100-200 guys in my school as well. I still get with girls in my school on the reg. If they start calling me a player or dishonest I tell them " do you even know the definition of the world player, im not a player, I'd prefer the name giver, since I give men a chance to better their lives ". If they call me dishonest I tell them to point out when have I lied to them.
