Hey guys! Wasn't sure where to post this, but I had a pretty cool experience yesterday and wanted to share.

I was dumped 2 months ago by a girl who I was crazy about, and it hurt. Bad. I wasn't sure what to do, but I knew I didn't want to sit around sulking.

So I hit the gym hard, started taking boxing classes, learned to dance salsa, updated my wardrobe, made an appointment to get my first tattoo, and tried a lot of new things that I never really had the balls to do.

I avoided her facebook page because I knew it would hurt too much. Yesterday I finally succumbed because I was feeling lonely and decided to see what she's been doing for the past 2 months. She hasn't been doing a damn thing.

I think I found the answer to getting over being dumped. Become 10x more interesting than you were before by doing things that make you uncomfortable. Even if you were total shit before, if you are living at the edge of your comfort zone you will eventually get to the point where you can say "She may have dumped the guy I was then, but she's not good enough for the guy I am now."

I'm still not completely over it, but when I realized how much I've done in two months, it was like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders. For the first time in a long time I felt proud of myself and I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
