Hey guys I've wanted to participate in this community for a long time, and today I finally bothered to make a throwaway account so I can actually post stuff.

FIELD REPORT #1: FASHIONABLE TINDER HOTTIE

So, I saw this girl on Tinder who was unusually, uniquely hot. Great body, great style, gorgeous eyes, and a pic of her great ass in a one-piece bathing suit. Needless to say, I wasn't expecting a guaranteed match.

Lo and behold, we matched.

I opened her with a question based on her profile. A simple question about the kind of music she likes to play. Bingo. She loves talking about this aspect of her life.

We started chatting back and forth. We kept trying to meet up that night, but we kept missing each other due to our migrating friend groups. But I turned it into a fun ongoing joke, and spun it into an invite to get brunch a couple days later. Got her number.

Turns out that brunch was an absolutely great idea. She said that she was sick of every guy wanting to meet up at night and get drinks. She said that it was always painfully obvious that guys just wanted to get drunk and fuck on the first date, and she was tired of the routine.

And this girl is beautiful. She shows up in this great casual streetwear style with a baggy sweater and skintight pants. Normally I would have a lot of anxiety in this situation, but for whatever reason I was completely happy. The weather was beautiful, and we had a long wait for a table so we sat outside and chatted. While we chatted:

1) I was genuinely happy, so it pervaded everything I said. It set the tone for our conversation and in moments we were both laughing like old friends. 2) All of my humor landed. Experiencing chemistry like that with an HB9 made me feel like a superhero. I had had plenty of success with women before, but not with women I considered to be this hot. 3) I took a genuine interest in her life, we connected on being ambitious, we made a lot of jokes about the fashion world in Seattle. It felt great to be able to go toe to toe with her on this. Hanging out on r/malefashionadvice and streetwear blogs has payed off!

So she loves brunch, and the mood is great, so I ask her if she wants to get some mimosas at a bar I like nearby. She's game, and we go over and continue chatting. The bar just opened, sunlight is pouring in, the atmosphere is great. After a couple mimosas she has to go to work, but says she had a great time and we should go out again.

For Date 2, I take her to one of my favorite bars and introduce her to my bartender friend who's bearded, charming as fuck, and makes her one hell of a mixed drink. Dude is the epitome of "Steal Your Girl" - tattoos, muscles, perfect-fitting clothes. But instead of being intimidated I treat him like he's an old pal and crack jokes right along with him. Dude does me a solid and talks me up a bit, gets us both laughing. This is a great move, I'm thinking to myself. I've gotta remember this for future reference.

After a bit, we leave to walk to another bar that we both like that has big booths where you can cozy up and people-watch. On the way there, she says something flirty (I wish I remembered what) and kinda walks ahead of me. I grabbed her hand and said, "come here," and pulled her in and kissed her.

She looks up at me, stars in her eyes. I'm thinking, I have no idea how I'm knocking this out of the park, but I totally am.

The rest of the night is just kino on top of kino. We only spend 45 minutes at the next bar, and we can't keep our hands off each other. I snuggle up close to her on the seat, I touch her thigh and hand, and she's game for everything. I keep her laughing the whole time. We pound one last drink and I say, "My place?" and she says, "Fuck yes."

We nearly powerwalk back to my place and we stop to kiss a couple times along the way. We get up to my bedroom and the clothes are immediately off. She turns out to be a fucking WILD ANIMAL in bed, wanting to be choked and slapped and claws the shit out of my back. It's just this raw, animalistic fucking like I've never experienced, and she is like a completely different person.

And you know what I learned? That I fucking love rough sex and I've been having boring sex my whole goddamn life. I fucking loved it. Easily the best night of sex I had ever had at that point in my life.

So finally, we get to date 3. At this point we are behaving like best friends. She comes and picks me up in her car, and we go downtown and go shopping together. It's fucking great. I get to see her try on all sorts of clothes. Her dad gave her a budget so I just get to see her model shit for me. She is absolutely thrilled that I would go shopping with her, and I joke, "don't get fucking used to it."

So we meet up with her friend for Ramen, who is an almost equally hot HB8. And at first I am a bit intimidated. This is like one of her closest friends, and her temperament is very dry, very sarcastic. I stumbled a bit at first but then I just thought, "no, fuck this." And I just hammed it up and pretended to be as confident as fuck, and pretty soon I was going toe to toe with her friend and social-proofing the fuck out of the situation. Eventually, we all go to a bar and get a couple drinks.

Then her friend has to leave to go meet a dude, and I get this random inspiration. I turn to the girl and say: let's get a hotel room tonight. She absolutely loves the idea.

So I pull out my phone, download some random app that lets me book hotel rooms, and within minutes I got us a room at a swanky downtown hotel. I didn't really have the money for it but I think, fuck it, this is gonna be fun. And it was. We got a bottle of wine, fucked like animals, and then I took her to breakfast along the waterfront the next day.

So I'm not a fit guy. I'm tall, and good looking, but I'm skinny-fat, and my style is okay but not great. I'm not the "manly man" type of personality with the no-fucks-given attitude and laid back persona. I'm pretty emotional, outgoing, and I think my personality comes across as a bit effeminate at times, even though I'm this big dude. But instead of worrying about it, I just embraced it. I stopped trying to be the kind of guy I thought I should be and just ran with my instincts and projected myself confidently.

What this whole experience showed me is that not only is confidence important, but so is being in a great mood. I am usually anxious and I think negatively, and even when I'm acting confident the negativity still brings the experience down. This time, I infused the entire experience with genuine enthusiasm and humor, and it made all the difference in the world.
