This thread is very illuminating. A woman talked about her sex life with her friends, even though her fiance asked her not to, she just ignored his boundary, and the comments are full of people castigating him for it.

If the genders were flipped, it would be a very different situation. If a man was talking about his girlfriend's sexual abilities after she had asked him not to, he would be the one getting castigated.

I have noticed this myself, a lot of other women that I know constantly blab about their sex lives, the details of their boyfriend's bodies, preferences, etc...as someone who loves bars, I could count the number of men being rude/standoffish/etc... to a woman who approaches them on one hand, whereas I've seen dozens if not hundreds of women being rude/standoffish... to men who approach them.

Just like we want men to respect our boundaries (and most of my experiences here have been positive), I think that we need to do a better job of respecting theirs.
