People just generally hang out with their own. Women do this, men do this.

Secret to life: If you want to be powerful, beautiful, rich, or brilliant, find powerful, beautiful, rich, or brilliant people and do what they do. As a side benefit you will likely end up making friends who make similar choices.

Your observation isn’t wrong, but it’s not just young beautiful women who do this. It’s everyone whether you think you do or you don’t.

People generally befriend people who are similar to themselves. There is a strong correlation between fitness related hobbies, gym going, putting effort into personal health, and putting effort into appearance, with attractiveness.

People also tend to get less shallow with age.

like attracts like that's really about it. You'll find most friends groups tend to be about the same in competence and attractiveness with some exceptions, and generally those exceptions will do something to get themselves removed eventually. It's the same for both men and women. If you see a guy who's below the other dudes in a group he's either A) in that excising phase or B) has something else that keeps him in the group, and the smaller you make a social circle the less you see this happen. If you ask someone to name the 3-4 people they hang out with the most they'll be about on par with each other.

From my experiences in high school and college, attractive people of both genders tend to be much more social than unattractive people, probably since they were given more attention. Likewise, girls are drawn to attractive boys, and give such boys more attention than unattractive boys.

I think if you’re attractive, it might be easier to go out with someone who’s attractive like you. There might be some struggles if your friends are not similar physically or even mentally. Someone who’s unattractive might have a harder time and project that a lot more

I’ve asked some hot girls this question before, and why it’s gotten worse in social media era.

What they say is attractive women can get elite fun sometimes anywhere. Invited to exclusive house parties, events, tables at club, on a party boat etc. Guys who host these things if they see a 5/10 girl with 2 8/10s the guy will tell the mid girl she can’t come on the boat, can’t go into club area where celebrity is etc. The 5/10 girl expects them to bail on the party for her, and they don’t and she gets mad at the hot girl friends.

The other reason is instagram. Girls want that cheerleader effect with posing with other girls. If you got an ugly girl she can mess it up. Sounds ridic right? Hot girl showed a story to me where she posed with her 5/10 friend, guys and girls on insta were responding to the story telling her she was ugly. Some girls really do care about their instagram profiles.

As far as girls with guys. Girls check out handsome fit guys. They also only want to be seen with high value or attractive men, to not change her perceived value to other high value men.

If you’re attractive, regardless of sex, you’re probably going to be more confident, meaning you’re more likely to strike up conversations and be friendly with strangers. And, given the choice, you’d probably want to associate with more attractive people than not, so the friendships with other attractive people are pretty much served up on a platter.

I mean, let’s not forget the root of the word attractive.

Idk. I am an attractive dude, I befriend a lot of people but the ones who usually stick around are other attractive people.

I had a friend who wasn't attractive and he was short and we were at a bar and this fucking legend pulls out a Nintendo Switch and starts playing Smash Bro's.... In the middle of the fucking function lmao. I love people who are authentically themselves.
