We are very often discussing here about the importance of social skills for men in context of dating, but I am curious if your social skills ever been an actual 'blocker' for you. I mean - that you were fully aware that woman is totally ok with how you look like, your job but you've had a problem in keeping conversation, you didn't have an idea what to say, you've said something totally awkward, you've felt that your intellectual level is not matching ?

I've had only one such situation - I've met a girl online and she invited me to her flat, turned out that she is a daughter of quite well-known businessman, 'the flat' was actually whole historical building - this girl had enormous knowledge and was very sophisticated. I wanted to run away immediately - though it would be rude so I've stayed a bit, but I totally didn't feel confident. Otherwise I do not really remember if this mythical 'social skill' would be having any impact, it was always either about looks or money(I've had a period of being jobless and yes - this is very important to have a job lol).
