Yes, a lot of feminists are this misandrist. And they even go as far as to rig statistics and deliberately misinterpret data in order for it to fit their narrative. A lot of them are dishonest to the core. Some are just blinded followers.

You need to understand that the goal of feminism is not to present a convincing case or have any logical consistency, but to attack men.

The entire academic field operates off of studies with extremely poor methodologies, which are later retracted, but nonetheless continually cited thereafter. A few examples:

One book suggested that women are far happier unmarried than they are married. This was later retracted because the author of the book misinterpreted a quote from the study he cited, and the study actually said the opposite. Feminists still cite this book to "prove" that women are happier unmarried.
One study showed that women do over twice as much domestic labor as men. The study was later retracted because the author essentially had women self-report their hours spent doing domestic labor and then report their male partners' hours spent doing domestic labor. They actually had the audacity to not only use self-reporting, one of the least reliable data collection methods, but third-party reporting.
One study showed that men leave sick women at alarming rates, while women tend to stick around with their sick male partners. This study too was retracted because the authors counted men who stopped participating in the study as leaving their wives.

There's also the wage gap myth, the one-in-four myth, the ludicrous claim that women receive poorer healthcare, the claim that female doctors have superior results to male doctors, and the list just goes on and on and on. I've seen feminists claim that women receive longer prison sentences for the same crimes, that women are victimized by violent crime at greater rates, and that women have higher suicide rates (based on women having higher attempt rates, which is another can of worms that included all self-harm as suicide attempts).

Virtually no other academic field, other than the meme fields like gender studies, is allowed to continually display such academic dishonesty yet still be taken seriously.

Feminists are emotionally driven and as such are likely to agree with anecdotes that support their agenda and will disagree with facts that disprove their narrative. This is why blatant lies such as the wage gap are so pervasive with these people. As you say, the ignore the fact that men tend to pick jobs that pay well, but have many other issues such as workplace safety or long hours. You don't see women signing up to be underwater welders or roofers. They also use men like Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates to compare themselves to rather than the average man.

They believe in insane concepts such as how America is pro rape culture when rape not only is taken seriously here, but men can be detained in jail based on just an accusation and many innocent men have gone to jail because of this:

Whenever you bring up suicide statistics in that men make up 80% of all suicides, they immediately mention how women attempt suicide more often, without understanding the simple fact that you can't attempt more suicides when you are successful the first time.

Finally, there's the nonsense such as the male gaze which is when men are attracted to women visually without admitting to the fact that both genders do this equally. They point at how porn is primarily for men, but cannot admit that most erotic literature is for women.

This is what happens when feelings and social media takes over facts, logic and science. Reality isn't what we want; it's what we have around us that we have to accept no matter how we feel about it. Feminism teaches people to ignore and avoid anything we disagree with and only associate with people that agree with what they teach. It tells women that they want women to believe whatever they want to as long as it's feminism. That's why you have lunatics like Gal Gadot and Maisie Williams who say if you aren't feminist, you are sexist.

Hey Ukrainian feminists, why aren't you fighting in the front lines with your horrible misogynistic men? The lethal methods part means nothing really. Suicide is suicide and in every country every method has a much higher percentage of men dying. It’s sad to think about anyone committing suicide especially on a large scale. I wish feminists wouldn’t feel the need to have some copy and paste bullet point rebuttal or counter argument to every single issue men face. Why do they always want to be the victim even when it’s clear men are killing themselves, they want to flip it around? Like it doesn’t need to be flipped around.

It’s weird too because they get some kind of satisfaction from making men feel worthless. There was a ton of that with the man or bear thing.

I was once a feminist in my younger years. Still believe in a lot of the premises of "equality" and treating both genders with the same honest regard despite their obvious differences. That said, as I grew older, I realized most of the feminist talking points made little to no sense unless you ignored your cognitive dissonance, biases, objective reality/history, and just accepted everything on bad faith. The movement/sociopolitical philosophy as a whole just perpetuates misandry in the form of good intentions.

TL:DR I'm no longer a feminist.

Feminists believe society is built to the standards of men. They even believe male dominance created gender altogether and have convinced women otherwise so they meet the standards of men.They think we’d all be ungendered if it weren’t for patriarchy and women and men would have basically non distinct psychology, behavior, personality etc.

They cherry-pick and contradict themselves though. Many will just follow along with the rest and not even understand the words they’re using.

Since society is built by and for men, they believe studies are biased in favor of men. They believe science and history can’t even be accurate because men have controlled everything.

What’s worse in my opinion is it seems like there’s some kind of affirmative action type over correction as an attempt to even things out. Like straight up lying in order to “fix” things.

Some, especially political org and major academic/media figureheads, are blatant psychopaths and wholly disingenuous.

Some are MRAs and just dont know it yet- see all the ex feminists who post here.

It's impossible to be a feminist in 2024 without being a misandrist. It's a required part of the membership package.

People in cults strongly believe the propaganda they've been fed. And they become so invested in it, they'll fight to the death when presented facts that conflict with their world view. This isn't unique to feminism.

The problem with the feminist lie, is how incredibly destructive it is to them as women, and to society as a whole. And, most importantly, to society as a whole. While they argue about a bogus 'wage gap' to the death, it's really just misdirection. The real issue is the massive decline in birth rate and intact, productive, child producing families that last. Instead, they try to pretend to be men for as long as possible. They make such bad decisions that they never make the connection that a dude just won a gold medal in women's Olympic boxing and that they voted for that.

Your conversation was with a person (female) that won't realize for a long time, if ever, the lies she's been told. And, of course, she'll parrot them. That's what cult members do.

Feminists hate facts because facts always disprove the feminist narrative. This is the reason why every feminist forum on the Internet is heavily censored to prevent facts from being posted and to ban anyone who attempts to do so.
