It's normalizing the bad behavior of some young woman who are terrible human beings but get away with it because they are pretty. I just heard recently group of young woman saying loudly on public literally: "all males are retarded" and laughing about it while slandering their boyfriends loudly because some chores they forgot to do at home. Imagine it was males doing this. We have a female privilege problem here. They can get away with too much.

Marxist views society as oppressors vs oppressed, and, rather than elevate the oppressed, you need to remove what separates the oppressors from the oppressed. For Marx himself, it was private property.

Then these ideas were "denounced" when most, if not all, communist countries failed, so the marxists became postmodernists. Then, the postmodernists infiltrated liberalism, so that the liberal view of the world became postmodern, which is marxism in disguise. That is why modern liberal theories isn't about elevating minorities, but pulling down those above them.

Radical feminism is one of the four big examples of this, (the other three are CRT, Queer theory and post-colonialism). Rather, than elevate females, we can hate the men for being above us, and petition to bring them down.

There’s evidence societies have long been gynocentric and hypergamous for reasons largely relating to biological realities, especially when populations were far less and resources rare. While biased, I don’t think this was really driven by hate.

At a time when these historic reasons made less sense, feminism pushed it even further. I think this is where hate became an essential strategy towards justifying disadvantaging men and advantaging women.

Someone here referenced a book criticizing feminism in 1930 which I’m currently reading and it clearly shows how anti-male feminism was even then. The author for example citing how men and women used to receive similar criminal sentencing but how feminism pushed an anti-male bias even back then.

Feminists want policies that advantage all women over all men. This requires all men be portrayed as evil humans who collude to victimize all women (patriarchy theory 101). This essentially equates to a hatred of men as a sex as opposed to focusing on individuals.

This isn’t unique to genders but is the basis of identity politics in general which can be traced back to the Frankfurt School ideology after WWII.

I’m all for equality and have personally been involved in fighting for women’s rights in the workplace for decades.

Somewhere along the line it became very popular to be a self acclaimed “victim” where I too was to blame.

Victimhood became trendy and the hatred began. All men became somehow bad no matter how good they were.

There are bad men and bad women but the difference is that men will call out bad men, police them and even physically punish them for being misogynistic or a threat to women.

Women will support bad women regardless of how horrific of a crime they commit. When spewing misandrist, gender bias hate, or making false accusations, toward men they sit quiet. Some will even claim they’re victims of men they have never had any contact of any kind with.

Normal, smart women could do themselves a huge favour by calling out women that go too far, lie or pretend to be a victim.

I put up an OP on this about a year ago. It said the following.

I have a theory as to why radical feminism exploded in the 1960s. (Yes, I know it existed long before that, but it went mainstream in the 1960s). My simple theory is it's a consequence of the birth control pill. Good, simple birth control started the sexual revolution, women can now have carefree sex. Thus, parents panic - what's to stop their 12-year-old daughters from humping boys at random.

Because our society refuses to punish girls the way it punishes boys, you cannot force girls not to do things. So you have you make them NOT want to do it. How to do that? Simple, demonize boys. Tell the girls boys don't care about them, that they're sex-crazed monsters who only want their body. This starts the demonization of males, causing girls to fear and hate boys, leading to radical feminism. So, what do you guys think about my theory? I think it makes more sense than the rich just wanted to double the number of taxpayers. I mean that could've been done anytime, including before the 1960s.

It started from women who don't like men. Who are largely radical feminists types, which are largely non hetero women. They have always existed. They just have a much bigger voice today mainly because most people appear to be afraid of them. The rest aren't aware enough about how dangerous their mentality is, to feel reason to do anything about it.

Girls are raised differently. Girls are raised with confedence and knowing who they are. Men get raised by separating them from their feelings and themselves by their mothers. So hatred for men starts as soon as a woman has a boy child and raises hin to be what she wants. You know men get turned into men by mothers. This heart has been beating a long time. Don't get me wrong, men have done some bad shit through the years. But, so have women. One does not justify the other.

I think a lot of it is that general realization that a lot of women cannot let shit go. Therefore, a stigma that "all men" should pay the price has taken the bull by the horns and begun to intensify and fuel this extreme push.

If all you see is what these chstterboxes are posting online, you'd never even so much as hold a door open for any woman again.

Hatred for others, no matter who, has been a staple of the human condition since we had a condition. But yeah, I think it became more significantly anti-male with the rise of third wave feminism, which found its voice at the same time social media became a thing. As an old GenXer, my childhood was filled with “women’s liberation,” and it seemed fair and reasonable to me: that women wanted equality of opportunity and respect for their abilities. It seemed to be about empowerment to become all that they wanted to be, and it included sexual freedom. That was second wave feminism. But the third wave became more about cultural complaining, and mostly about men. It seemed to embrace an almost patriarchal puritanical tone, and a patriarchal lack of agency and empowerment within themselves. Basically, they embraced victimhood and took over feminism, blaming men for everything (hence the words “patriarchy” and “privilege”), and justifying hatred. Although I had already experienced a fair amount of misandry beforehand, I never heard of many complaints by men overall, and just assumed I was being too sensitive. It’s clear now to me, though, that there is a great need for academia (and culture) to take a serious look into men. We have a complex and stubbornly hidden psychology that is way too often taken for granted as though we’re all alike. And, I believe, in some ways, we ARE more alike with the pain and frustrations we tend to keep hidden. I suppose it’s up to us to stop being so closed up, be more supportive, and give ourselves a break for not living up to the “real man” bullshit sometimes. And to stand up for ourselves and each other in the face of it all. Good feminism is not the problem, though: women should be able to be fully human and reach their potential. But of course, so should we, without the ridiculous pressures and expectations that both women and other men put on us. We should have our feelings, concerns, and natural differences taken into account. Whatever privileges we have, especially in modern society, come with too many presumed responsibilities and expectations. So much of that is left over from the “patriarchy.” We should say “fuck it” to that as well as speaking up against the misandry of modern society (the patriarchy is where a lot of that comes from anyway).

Society has always placed a huge amount of responsibility on men, so if anything goes wrong it's on them. Feminists like to say men had all this power historically, but it was responsibility they had, they has responsibility over the lives and wellbeing of their family. Even if there was a female leader/queen, it's still a man who bares the burden of responsibility.

I honestly don't know, but it's very deep rooted and a strong part of any society, as a boy you're always told that other boys are competition, that men are danger, and that protecting the women from the men gets you extra social credit.

I'd say it's the association of men with danger, which often becomes a self fulfilling prophecy leading men to turn dangerous because that's how society portrays them, and yes that portrayal is blown out of proportion.

That makes hating men (feel) more justifiable.

It's a method those in power use to separate us from one another by putting us against one another because a unified populace is dangerous to a capitalist society that promotes individuality so they feel alone and disconnected.

That isn't to say there aren't bad experiences but they end up being framed and utilized as a method to separate people from one another rather than focusing on the real reasons behind those issues which is generally a lack of compassion and care during early development which ironically would be helped if people could connect and understand one another better.

It started back in like 2015 and 2016 on Tumblr/4chan etc. so the thing is basically it started off with the patriarchy and involved women who identify with different genders etc so basically lot of people on these websites were non-white, LGBTQ, disabled etc with coloured hair and what not. It became an extremist movement slowly when women started watching posts about how all their problems were caused by patriarchy and white privilege so they started hating men and talking about manspreading and mansplaining rather than addressing core issues such as transgender rights and advocating for Muslim women.

Always with some minority, but I'd say the 50's really began the pre-explosion of it. Boomers became spoiled US teens, the most spoiled in Earth's history, because the US emerged with insane dominance, GDP, tech, and natural resources. People get spoiled without danger or crises. Those teens were also where bullies in highschools really became normalized in public secular schools. Then the bullies were largely misogynistic guys. It was more sexist against women. My Mom had it terrible compared to my asshole Dad. Then 60s feminists were increasingly misandrists as a reaction, especially in the 70s. Divorce changed to being ridiculously biased against men. 90s and 00s weren't as bad as the last decade. But once Trump won the first time, women were outraged like never before, and hating men just began increasing exponentially. MGT0W began as a reaction. Now Trump got elected in part because of Men reacting to misandry... and so outrage from women and misandry just began exploding again... And will only get radically worse. Which doesn't hurt asshole guys much, because they don't care anyways.

At least, that's what I think.

Elon Musk saud it best, they have been indoctrinated to the point thatbthey are denying the best part of themselves for them and the rest of the world.

What specific hate? A lot of arguments for male privilege and the general history of gender imbalance of power and respect have merit and aren't myths. I'm not saying it's right for feminism to have gone as far as some take it, but the history of oppression of women hasn't been imagined. Like, I'm not saying it's right for a black person to indiscriminately call me a cracker, but we can't imagine history didn't happen. Also, always remember that in the same way that I can't speak for you, not all women are haters (assuming you are referring to hate specifically from women) and treating them as such would be the same as them doing it to us; it can be hurtful and spread misinformation. That said, the opinion of men (whether or not they individually deserve the hate), that women hold, is often colored by the misbehavior of men around them. There is definitely a growing culture of man hating in general.
