I have a half assed instagram with a ton of followers from some businesses I ran and rebranded as my personal after a break up. It comes in waves, when I had a gf that didn’t like it, I couldn’t seem to stop getting random girl follows from friends of girls I followed. They often dm’d first and when I was too busy, flaky or unbothered they’d get upset and either remove me or block me for not showing interest back. I woke up one morning with nudes from a girl I never met and the next week I was blocked because I didn’t set up a date.

yea instagram is way better than dating apps you get to showcase more of your lifestyle so if you are a traveler and do interesting things women like that especially if she travels too it’s a good conversation starter.

I like to believe if you have a solid social media, odds are you’re interesting enough that your social skills are pretty above average.

With that said, I often resort to cold approaches at the Salsa socials or cocktail bars where the occasional professional women will sit at the bar and it’s a “safe environment” so to speak. Thereafter, you exchange social media, likely she’ll check you out on there for a scroll or two make up her mind and bam you’re in

I had a kind of medium good IG.

Never bothered with DM sliding, but used it to build attraction/rapport. I'd meet someone in the wild, if it went well swap IG's instead of phone numbers. Do some story replies back and forth, it'd get flirty, etc.

I've never been the hookup type, so my numbers will look different from someone going for volume, but it was ridiculously effective.

When I was in undergrad, I would put a lot of fuckboy type shit. I was in a frat, so like pics of me flexing in the gym, partying in tailgates, pics with the bois, pics with a ton of girls at like social events. I would get quite a few girls DM me and like follow me randomly. I used to wonder why, then after reading RSD stuff and The Mystery Method, basically realized I was conveying social proof and preselection, which is one of the trigger attractions for girls.

Now that I am much older (and actually have money to do cool stuff for myself) I world travel and most of my pictures are about the places I’ve traveled and people I’ve met traveling. I still get DMs from girls since I’m portraying a cool lifestyle, but not as much as I did in undergrad.

This latter approach does help me a ton in cold approach (similar to Mystery’s old school photo routine) girls are excited about the places I’ve been to and give me their numbers and social media much easier.

The amount of girls I get on Raya is almost annoying it becomes almost pointless. For a couple of months it was fun but it’s like always the same game and same rythm and boring to me.

I'd honestly ask how much substance there are in the reactions hips with these women. I'd imagine they're more likely to be clout chasers than you're average girl.

Nonetheless, I'm also someone who has thought shit like Instagram and tiktok type ish are extremely toxic and very bad for your mental health.

There's WAY more significant shit to be pursuing in your life than going after material shit. Who really had their lives genuinely changed by what's getting posted or typically discussed on Instagram? I'd imagine it's not really all that many but, maybe I'm way off.

Will it help on some level? Yes. Will those girls be genuine quality and not simple pursue the next big thing when they find a bigger proverbial fish on instagram? That'd be my question.

Ig and shit just seems so vain and hollow to me though.

What about GENUINELY pursuing things that make a REAL difference in someone's life? Thats what I'd be pursuing.

I used to have Instagram just for laughs, would post memes or funny pics, or just bad pics of myself. Then I changed it, took nicer pics, deleted the unnecessary shit and voila much more girls in following. Public profile to get more views. Now I can say I have mid insta, not something special, I try to do a weekly story and picture on the feed if it is good. Tried even not posting for period of time and it dies down. As for girls, you get likes, occasional DM but still majority is your initiation of contact. One thing that I believe would make it much better is having money. Then you can take travel pics and just show your life like that.
