This is why the RP has blown up so much. Men universally/ of all backgrounds are coming together sharing their stories and encounters with women amongst each other and realizing they’re all experiencing the SAME behavior from women. I like to call this “female fuckery”. Not being RP aware is a massive risk and will have inexperienced men who subscribe to feminist ideals become resentful of women because they fell for the lie that women are “NOwrongdoing angels”- be a good guy at all times. This goes from dating to even protecting themselves from women who attempt at ruining their lives through the systems of gynocentrism. Understanding female Nature - as feminism has gone on massive tangent - is a must!

Feminism benefits only women. Its not trying for equality. Its trying to make women a superior gender. They downplay every bad thing a woman does because men do it much more often than women. Your afraid of rapist? 55% of rape victims are men. Not to mention how many male rapes haven't been reported. They even have tha audacity to say that they cant be sexist meanwhile all they do is spitt hate about men. Go to a women subbreddit. Yep, it happened to me. I was innocent naive, raised by a single mother, I got destroyed by my ex-wife who was also a single mother (experienced) before I met her. She destroyed every aspect of my life as I was her scape goat to get revenge on men. People would say it was me who destroyed my life by accepting such a woman as my wife and not divorcing her, but it was the evil programming that I had endured by my mother growing up that made me think its normal, that if a woman is angry it is my fault, I am not good enough in some way, I need to cater to them. Also, being distress by the damage that the baby boomer divorces caused on my generation I vowed not to repeat that cycle so I didn't believe in divorce. But it just became a deeper hole as my ex isolated me further, destroyed every aspect of my esteem, drained my bank, stunted my career prospects, gave me depression and anxiety, traumatised me not to be with a woman again etc.

Men (and boys) are unfortunately at odds with their own image. Complaining, whether just or not, is seen as less than, speaking against women, the same, and protecting people from women, the same.

Men can stand up for themselves, but... They're the bear in a situation like this. They're not seen as reasonable sentient and rational equal beings, just angry fear mongering avatars to protect society from. Like a firearm, you take it from the safe, use it, put it away and don't talk about it. It saves your life? Bare minimum, it protected you? Bare minimum, it gives you peace of mind? Bare minimum. Men are just unappreciated tools to some people, nothing more. They're (firearms) useful as hell but we'll always talk about how dangerous they are without mentioning the person behind the weapon is typically the issue and not the weapon itself.

Women are essentially standing behind a lot of men and arming them with things they shouldn't feel or haven't ever even fantasized about. Putting things in the men (and women's) mind that were never there. Creating tension and disgust for things those men (or boys) haven't ever done.

It's probably deemed as more educational and documentation in the same way showing diseased and unsightly genitalia is acceptable in school to raise awareness of sex safety. But it isn't assumed either party is armed with that type of situation so things move on smoothly.

The man dogma speaks of men of similar ilk as the above, but doesn't free them from the stigmas born from the discussions shared on the subject. And while it would be mature for those participants to assume bad men aren't all men, it's instead treated as a latent trait every man has and it is of women's best interest to provoke that ire by the herd...

This can lead to emotional fusion, a concept described by psychoanalysts like Daniel Stern or Didier Anzieu (with his "Skin-Ego" theory) where the child struggles to build a sense of self that is distinct from the mother.

Healthy development requires both attachment and separation. The mother usually offers the emotional containment in the early stages. The father, if present and emotionally engaged, introduces a separating force. Jacques Lacan called this the "Name-of-the-Father" function, which represents the law, difference, and symbolic distance.

If that symbolic separation is missing, the boy can remain psychically fused with the mother. This isn't sexual incest but what some call psychic incest where the mother's emotions, thoughts, or unresolved grief bleed into the child's identity. The child becomes her emotional partner, her protector, or her unconscious savior.

Carl Jung might call this a mother complex in adult men. It can lead to compulsive loyalty toward women, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling responsible for female emotional states. These men often become "knights" who try to rescue or carry the burden of the maternal figure.

So the issue is not feminism. The issue is the absence of a third structure in the child's development, often represented by the father. What you're witnessing is a deep psychological wound, not the result of an ideology.

I think you could take gender out of this entirely and say: there are bad people out there who will take advantage of good people, and it’s more than OK to not tolerate abuse or bad behavior, regardless of the source. Self care and not being a pushover is not controversial, it’s essential. And I definitely don’t think it is right to raise boys (or girls) to believe that certain bad behaviors are OK because of a gender difference (e.g., hitting is domestic violence and can be committed by people, regardless of gender). Feminism and equality is about equal rights and treatment, not forcing men to put up with unhealthy situations imo.

As a feminist, I’m genuinely curious about other opinions, and I have a few questions about this post:

What about feminism (as in what you perceive it to be and experience it as) feels like it devalues the abuse men often face in relationships? Is it that it is just not mentioned as often or something else?

What about the feminist narrative makes it feel like you can’t stand up to any abuse you face from women?

I think our movement needs to do a better job at including everyone and not making people feel like they are on the periphery of social progress. So I would love to hear what people who are not feminist perceive as the problems with the modern movement!

Men and boys just need to focus on building their futures and carers. Stay away from relationship. If you need a fix, maybe a one night stand, an escort or just squeeze the chicken. When your in a really good place then start to date. Always get consent forms signed, be very reluctant to perform kink ex with women. All this bdsm and other things of the like that strokes on borderline consent and grape, just avoid it, because its not worth it. She might tell you she has one fantasy and you have rough ex with her, but the next time your going as planned you might be too rough and the no that shes been telling you has been a yes might actually be a no, so just avoid it. but if you really want to do it, again consent forms, get cameras, put the engagement to be signed in the consent form, draft out what is acceptable and what is not, plus the same word. But in general get the know the woman first before you even get to the bedroom, then you will have a better gage on the type of woman your letting into your life. When my future kids are of age, thats exactly what i will tell them.

The difference is where you see this. There are lots of women who don’t lurk on forums, who would still consider themselves feminists, who absolutely know there are bad women just as there are bad men. Sure, there are radical feminists (the label is the tell) who believe all men are bad and all women are good. So if that’s all you see, then you’ll believe that women believe that. Well, we don’t. We are not stupid and absolutely know that nobody believes all women, and shouldn’t believe all women. Men lie and women lie. But not all men, not even most men, and not all women, not even most women. So just be aware that what you search is what will show, and the world isn’t that extreme.

What do you mean by „feminist narrative?” To my knowledge, feminism doesn’t encourage women to abuse men or men to just accept any behavior from a women. (I understand that there might be some loud voices that actually are man hating, but really, please check feminist literature or the serious people talking about the issue, not tiktokers)
