There's a popular trend on social media whereby 1000's of women are claiming there's a Chopped (Ugly / unattractive) Man Epidemic, while almost all women are beautiful gorgeous, etc.

Someone did a gender swap on few of these women and their male versions turned out to be very mediocre looking and unappealing. He did that to prove the point that its not so much there's an ugly man epidemic, but men are just rated a lot more harshly than women who are objectively at the same level.

Do you think there's a bias whereby we tend to rate women pretty/cute by default but men ugly/unappealing/plain?

Also, do you think that the gender swapped versions are accurate?
