I have had great experiences with women I didn't necessarily find "hot" or "pretty", but more average. Others; not really attractive at all, but their personality was fantastic or the chemistry worked well, whatever the case may have been, I can't recall ever regretting it. I cannot say the same about a few beautiful women in my life.

If you like her, give it a shot. Otherwise, just keep going for who you normally like.

Have to look at your level of self-confidence and social level.

Also, you have to look at how much you don’t find her attractive.

ask yourself would I show her proudly to my friends?

also ask yourself if you are a winner or loser in life

Men who date down tend to behave unfair with that woman because they think they don’t have to be careful.

Make sure they are not cat fishing you first of all or trying to grift you for all your cash. Be careful with meeting someone online. Look at them for their personality if they are in the all clear. If you don't like them no harm done. You can also just sleep with them a couple of times then ghost them if you are into that.

100%. They say people who look good in pics usually don’t look as nice in real life and vise versa. Plus you’ll save yourself alot of headaches in life if you follow this wise proverb “date the bitch who likes you and not the bitch you like” - some IG pimp. There’s some really deep truths there. This depends a lot on your preferences. Have you had relationships in the past with girls who you didn't think were pretty? How did they go?

For most men it wouldn't be a good idea. In the long-term they would struggle to stay loyal, especially if other physically attractive girls take a liking on them. The body wants what it wants.

All of the best relationships I've been in have been with women I wouldn't have swiped right on in a dating app.

If you're looking for a hook up, looks matter a lot. If you're looking for a long term relationship then looks have almost 0 correlation with whether or not that person will be a good partner.

With matches on dating apps, you should go into the first date assuming that best case scenario she will look like her worst photo. It's just a date. Keep it low stakes. Weekday. Just drinks at a casual bar, no dinner reservations.

Also it's promising that her body looks good in the photos but face not so much. Usually it's the other way around where you're worried she may be a little chunkier than you'd prefer and she turns out to be a full blown whale. For the face she might just not be photogenic or have an awkward smile in photos.

I've found the halo effect can occur with non-physical things too. If I notice she's intelligent or honest/trustworthy, then that trait actually changes how I perceive her physically. Its a strange illusion, but noticing one good trait can make a person look more attractive.

I've been pleasantly surprised a few times, especially when the girl just has great energy. Photos don't do girls justice sometimes. You can always bounce early if you don't vine on a first date.

Do it. Women are turned on by men that don't like them because those men don't show urgency that turns the women off. You can get some sex while getting a rolling start on building preselection value because light switches exist.

Women are like the stock market, you have to have some form of money to make better money. Your first options may not be the prettiest but having options autocorrects your behaviors so you can attract higher quality women.
