And i assume it's more right for a sex work because men pay her for something THEY want, now something she wants, so she has to play a role and do it well, just so happens that this roll is dominating.

I've never gone into it a lot here because it makes me a little uncomfy, but I have been.. forced into that sort of roll before. A lot of people assume I'm a dom just because I'm tall, goth and I come off as a bit cold and strong willed. And with some of the guys and gals I've dated, they've pushed me into that roll completely even if I'm not into it that much. I'm into that sort of thing like.. 25% of the time. But I've been forced into doing it A LOT more than I enjoy before.

It becomes so exhausting if I don't get what I need in between. I'm just glad my partner isn't like that.

Yes, it’s wrong. Just because a woman seems “in control” in a femdom session doesn’t mean she couldn’t have been coerced, trafficked, or pressured into doing it. Power in a scene isn’t the same as power in real life.

No, femdom is just as much about female submission to men as femsub is. You can tell by the fact that in femdom, she is usually required to wear tight, restrictive clothing (very high heels, corsets), wear full make-up, and scenes usually involve her pleasuring or stimulating the man, but rarely her getting directly stimulated or pleasured.

(As opposed to maledom, where the man is usually wearing comfortable non-restrictive clothing, not expected to wear make-up, and is more likely to receive direct stimulation such as blow-jobs).

Femdom isn't really about women in power, it's about men in power pretending like they're not in power.

And, at the end of the day, we're a sexually dimorphic species. The average man is bigger and stronger than the average woman. If that malesub feels like abusing that femdom, she can't get away while wearing her 6-inch-heels or breath-restricting corset.

There is nothing about femdom that makes them more or less likely to be abused than femsubs. Femdoms can be owned by brothels and pimps just like femsubs can. They can be trafficked and groomed as well, they're just groomed slightly differently than femsubs are.

The problem is that even self-reported submissive men can b very demanding and often view their partners as kink dispensers as much as humans. I've yet to find a Female Led Relationship or Domme/sub relationship dynamic with passive aggression and power struggle

Yep. This isn't a philosophical or theoretical question, really, it's a demographic one. And the truth is that professional dom(me)s are more likely to "own" and conduct their own business and decide personally which clients to take on, so any given professional femdom you encounter is less likely to be working for an exploitative third party than a non-femdom sex worker. Plus, femdoms get paid more on average, so their wages themselves are less exploitative.

This doesn't mean that the nature of pro femdom makes it definitionally impossible to exploit its providers, or that dominatrixes have some specific personality trait that makes them universally unexploitable. The market in which professional dominants operate is just different.

I don't think so. In that sort of relationship, the sub should be able to stop anything at any time. So whatever power is gained by being the dom is negated by the fact that they need the sub's consent to do anything (and sexually assaulting a client is risking your pay). Then there's the fact that the whole scenario is the client's choice. Take it all away and you're back with the regular conversation about sex work.

A couple of my friends awhile back worked as dommes. They didn't do other forms of sex work. Never asked directly, but it seemed understood that the degree of control and distance involved in that kind of sex work is what made them choose it over vanilla escorting or stripping or something. In general with kink there is going to be more formal negotiation and boundary setting. I don't think any of them ever gave oral sex or had intercourse. So yes, I think it does feel a bit safer for many women.
