- start dressing a little better. Oversized T shirt with rusty jeans and black sneakers might be acceptable and fashionable in your mind, but it isn't to anyone else. Put on some dress shoes, buy a nice dress shirt that actually fits. You don't know how to pair colors? Black, navy, charcoal grey, white, dark brown all work with each other. There you go.

- skincare isn't gay, the dude that's smashing your crush is doing it and you should too. SPF, moisturizer, cleanser and exfoliant is all you need. Unless you want your face to look like a cracked floor by the age of 40, keep on keeping on.

- embrace your imperfections. Boo fucking hoo, everyone has a flaw or 10, you're not special. Height, scar somewhere noticeable, dick size, bad hair - accept your fate and move on.

- if you ain't naturally funny, don't force it, because people are cruel and love nothing more than the opportunity to tear down a low value guy who thinks he said something clever. Wit and humor are not one in the same, work on your wit if you're lacking in the other department.

- gym is absolutely mandatory. There are dudes without legs and severe neurological issues that still go in there and put the work in. You have no excuse.

- turn a skill into a hobby or vice versa. Are you completely self-reliant? Is there something you want to learn but never had the balls to try it? Well go for it now. Practice makes (somewhat) perfect, and overtime not only will you build competence, but perhaps even discover a hidden talent. Being good at something is hot to women, or so I'm told.

- don't be a robotic motherfucker who lets everything bounce off of him, but at the same time do not react impulsively to anything. As I will point out shortly, disrespect should never be looked past, but petty arguments over trivial and inconsequential things, or even worse, ATTEMPTS to argue over insignificant things should never get to you.

- quit talking so damn much. A key component of a good conversation is listening and silence, not just yapping all the time. Say more by saying more with fewer words. Luckily, due to the magic of YouTube, hundreds of thousand of speeches and analysis of those speeches from the greatest orators of all time are available to you for free.

- don't be merciless, but don't tolerate disrespect from anyone. Fake your self worth if you must, but don't let anyone step on you.

- read. Read. Read.

- nobody is gonna make you better except for you. Pity doesn't equal love.

- a wise man once said "you don't need 50 acquaintances, you need 5 guys and you can take over the world." If your "friends" are discouraging you from gym, reading, trying new things (especially socially), introspection and financial upgrades, ditch them. I don't give a fuck if your mothers been tight since the 80's - if they don't want you to see you shine, they'll close their eyes when you're darkening.

- at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. Control what you can, but understand that the controller is not solely yours. Fate is comprised of the words fat and ate, and daily we all eat a fat shit sandwich in many areas of life. Move forward, and if you can't, don't fall backwards.
