Missed opportunity. It would be good for you to move on. Not sure how old you are but I had about a 5 opportunities soon after my divorce. Decent woman. I did as you did. Now I rarely get the same opportunity. What I learned was those woman were looking for a nice chill relationship and open to hooking up. No long term commitment needed but preferred. Fast forward can’t seem to connect with anyone decent. Luckily I did find someone for a short bit that was very nice and we had but decided not long term. No big deal but great experience.

Your rough week sounds like a normal week honestly. It sounds like you still think about your ex. I don't think you're in a position to think about anything else but casual dating. I'd say keep up with self improvement, keep dating, you're going to have to do way more than 2 dates to find something of substance 😅. Just have fun out there... Eventually you'll find one that you have good vibes about, and even then take it easy and steady. What's the rush.

I get it, brother. I was out with a buddy a few weeks ago and we ran into a rather talkative younger woman. She was above average and very handsy with me, all because I made the mistake of listening to her for 5 minutes and intelligently replying. She told me about everything… her felony rap, banging the guy she sublets from to get her current place … it was there for the taking yet I had no hesitation about telling her good night. I know some are gonna call you crazy, but if you’re not ready you’re not ready. I had some issues on my end when I was dating shortly after my divorce. Turns out sleeping with the same woman for 13 years, you get a lil comfortable with your routine and any change is difficult to overcome.

I got mine at times, but when we broke up I realized that I needed to take a bit more time to completely get over my ex wife. It was a nice confidence boost for myself that hey I’ll be able to get laid again at some point, but I need to work on myself. It’s not fair to me or the other woman if I’m still thinking of my ex. I’m like you, I want something real and don’t want to just replace the hole in my chest that my ex left.

Now of course, if you wanna start hoeing out, go ahead my man. Ain’t nothing wrong with that. Just like there’s nothing wrong with taking some time to heal. Take the fact that you got immediate offers your first week on the app as a sign of confidence that when you want some, you can get some.

Well it sounds like both your dates liked you which is a major plus. I wish I found someone hot that just wants to fuck. I've been on the apps and get matches but it's been really hard for me to actually move forward with dates because my divorce has crushed my self esteem and confidence. I got the courage to see one date up off hinge and could tell within the first 30 minutes the girl was not into me. She unmatched me after the date. Not sure why the rejection hurt so bad but it did. So far OLD had not been a confidence booster for me.
