If it’s for real and genuinely who he is, not a red flag. Performative perfection or outright fakery is the largest red flag 🚩 One of the most charismatic and charming men I ever met was a psychopathic liar. It wasn’t off putting until I figured out it was not in any way real and that he was tailoring this performance specifically to impress me

Yes it’s cringe because it gives try hard, overachiever, robot. A lot of people these days are perfectionists and try to hold everyone else to that standard even when they themselves aren’t even close to it. I stay away from people like that.

Sexy in a video game or show, definitely a red flag in real life. People who are almost constantly “performing” are either terrifying or incredibly insecure. Make your insecurities known, I don’t wanna dig for them and get the cold shoulder for not acknowledging them from the start.

No, I’d actually consider that a green flag. The only person I’ve ever met like that is my husband. It’s only a red flag if they never show any humility because even when good people are right they don’t try to make others feel bad about it.

Yes, my husband was this way, actually! I paid attention to his response when I set boundaries or expressed discomfort and he was always totally respectful and not passive-aggressive or pushy which made me more confident in his character early on.
