I recently tried once again to read George Orwell’s 1984.

As always, I got a few chapters in and had to stop because it was so depressing that I couldn’t live in Orwell’s evocation of mind-controlled totalitarian world for a minute longer.

Well it is feminists, can't say I'm surprised by their actions.

Obesity is generally a disease of western civilization, and most of these people eat crap by choice. Fat Children and the genetically disadvantaged may be exempt to some degree, but if a person chooses to turn their body into the body of a pig, then they should have the choice, just don't expect me or anyone else to support or like their choice.

People who use weight as an excuse to attack someone really shows just how small their character is. However, it's usually the most rabid attacks I've ever seen.

I mean, you don't see that veracity against cigarettes do you? You don't see people ridiculing smokers en masse with derogatory remarks do you? The most you get a snide sarcastic comment. THAT is something we should be up in arms about. THAT is something that is 100% preventable! But nope, it gets a pass. If people are REALLY that concerned about other's health, this should be the first target.

Your point is idiotic. Congress' weight doesn't affect their power and privledge because they are all men and men can be fat and powerful (see Chris Christie). Women cannot.
