6'1", 220 pounds, BP 205+, Curl 55 each arm, Pull downs 190, deadlift 250 5x5, 275 1 or 2 x 5.

I'd discuss this with a doctor except a) they don't understand liting heavy things and b) he is away on holidays.

On Tuesday I did my regular routine - BP, curls, box squats, pulldowns and deadlifts. I don't remember exactly what I deadlifted. Probably 250 5x5 and I know I did 275 at least one set. I wear a weight belt. Everything was fine. Felt great.

Wedesday, Thursday were rest days/ cardio, etc. No problems.

Friday I drove 300 miles in a rental car. The seat didn't fit me well, too much lumbar. And the pavement was rough. When I arrived, my body felt a bit tired, but nothing unusual.

Saturday about noon my back begins to really hurt. Right at the spine, about belly button height. Never the less, I carried on. Saturday night I had a hard time getting comfortable to sleep.

Sunday it gets worse, a little more tender around the area. Left side only. Right side is fine. Harder to sleep. Drove the rental car about 100 miles too. I took some aspirin.

Monday I drive the rental car back home, 300 miles. Put the seat up fairly straight, put a jacket behind my butt to cancel out the lumbar as much as possible.

The pain was excruciating when I got home. Monday night it took me 2 hours to find a position to sleep in that doesn't cause it to throb. And the pain seems to be have gravitated to my obliques a bit. Maybe from compensating to keep it from hurting ? The pain is only on the left side. No pain on the right side.

Any idea what is going on with my body ?
