CMV: Online depictions of women and how women treat men online (especially in the manosphere) is not an accurate representation of how women feel or treat men in day to day life. These misconceptions are propagated by men whose main interaction with women is online.

She will ignore unattractive men. But that's until he actually approaches her. Try being an unattractive man who dares to strike up a conversation with a woman. She can and usually will be as brutal as anything in any incel/TRP nightmare story.

A man she cannot see or hear or properly empathize with who is lecturing her about AWALT. That she doesn’t defer to strangers is not an indication of how she defers to men in her life.

And the irony of this is that ten seconds later she is yelling at someone for saying "unhelpful" things like "not all men are like that"...

Except many of us actually do live in the real world and see how our friends and co-workers are treated. Honestly most women are pretty nice to me, but I'm not blind to what goes on around me either.

Number 3 is never meant to be interpreted in that way. It’s not that ALL women are like the author or will end up that way.

You’re smart enough to understand what a cautionary tale is. Furthermore, those single women desperate for meaning in life are not an uncommon trend in out increasingly isolated and consumerist world and it’s not unique to women.

There are plenty of the gendered reverse out there, it just manifests itself differently. Also, the NYT or WaPo would never publish the gendered reverse. The gendered reverse to “where are all the good men” is “where are all the hot women.” In no fucking world would the NYT or WaPo entertain a male entitlement piece lol

To suggest these articles are not indicative of an increasingly isolated and nihilistic lifestyle is incorrect in my opinion. Lots of people fall into these hedonistic traps and then second guess their choices when it’s too late. I do think it’s increasingly becoming a problem.

Women treat incels like garbage. I agree with your semantics that they aren't outright mean to them without good reason. However, they still treat them like garbage so that distinction isn't particularly relevant.

Fair enough, you can't know for sure. However, her behavior online could be predictive of other behavior, but there is insufficient information to know for sure.

Correct, you can't selectively choose a sample and expect it to be representative of the population. The scientifically correct way to draw those conclusion would be by selecting a random sample and using statistics to make conclusions about the population (which are only known with a certain level of confidence).

However, if you see a bunch of articles about the same thing it could point out an interesting trend or shift in attitudes. For example, if you saw articles about the use of online dating increasing it could reflect an actual trend.

Short men get ripped apart without just cause on Twitter on a regular basis. Incels get mocked by nearly everyone all of the time. It seems to me if that you were truly curious about the subject then you'd get the information straight from the incels mouth. I'm sure they have plenty of horror stories. But you didn't write this to attempt to understand anyone imo.

I recommend reading some trans story. See if this is true. There are many which transitioned from women to men (as in, can not be easily discerned) who actually ended up swallowing the red pill, funnily enough. They end up quite disapointed in a man's life. A famous trans of the university of mine recently took his own life, he could not deal with being a man.

I recommend Norah Vincent's "Self Made Man". It is a book of a woman who passed some months as a male. But she could not deal with it, and became depressed, so she finished early the experiment. Go there. See if this is true that we males are lying somehow. Or maybe ask some close gay friend who you know have tried to deal with women. Outside of preferences, you will see how he express himself about women.

If you are still not convinced. You could see some makeup artist and SFX artists to look like a man yourself. It seens to not be hard to look like a man. You could feel in your bones that what we talk is the hard truth. Unfortunatelly, being a man is not as easy as you women seen to think.
