I am at a loss for words here guys. Just looking for where to go from here. Also please ignore grammar.

Background: been with girlfriend for a year, we moved in together.

About myself, I am not a bad looking guy. I am 5’10 can run a 7:30 mile, have a decently good smile. My girlfriend while pretty actually weighs more than me and is definitely on the chubbier side. So I always thought we were pretty well matched looks wise if anything I was slightly more attractive. I was happy to be with her and didn’t think either of us was settling .

Also job wise I do well for myself I am a project manager at a large pharmaceutical company.

But yeah we have been together for a while and we moved in last month. Things have been good her friends like me they think I am really fun to hangout with.

That was the situation going what happened was that my girlfriend and her friends went on a girls night. I picked em up and it turns out my girlfriend ran into her ex at the bar she was at.

She and her friends starts telling me that her ex was so hot that I am so lucky that I am with her and that she is a loyal girlfriend. This was pretty insulting especially because she said with her friends right there I just brushed it off.

But nope she starts talking about how her ex has a huge cock but it’s okay because I am a lot smarter than him and he isn’t doing shit in lifeHer friends started giggling. I started to really get heated because I knew my girlfriend was tippy but this was just incredibly out of line. I told her friends after that that they need to leave.

My girlfriend got mad after this and this is when we got into the fight. The fight was lengthy and honestly I don’t remember the details or how it all went since I was so upset.

But the main thing was she told me that the stuff she said was all a compliment that I had a great personality. I told her what she said about the ex stuff was insulting. And I told her he wasn’t even her ex. The dude basically fucked her for three months and lead her on.

This gets her to start crying and then she starts insulting me that I can be so nasty when I am made to feel like a “little man.” More stuff was said back and forth I told her if she thinks she is settling for me from the muscular bros she used to “date” she can go back to them. She then said that just because guys hurt her in the past is no excuse for me to treat her badly that she expects “Guys like me” to be better.

I slept on the sofa after fight I told her in the morning to leave. She sent a bunch of texts first being nasty and then stuff asking if I want to end our relationship over something so dumb.

Honestly guys our relationship was solid before this fight. But I basically discovered that my girlfriend thinks she is settling for me physically speaking compared to the guys she “dates” in the past. I also found out her friends think the same thing about me.

I love her but I don’t think our core relationship is good anymore. I am thinking of ending our relationship after this fight. I know this is a rash call after one fight but that’s how I’m really feeling. Is this the right call? Does my logical make sense or am I rushing into this break up?

Tl;Dr- girlfriend ran into an ex of hers when she was out drinking with friends. She basically tells me that I should be grateful dating her because she used to date a lot more attractive guys. I am thinking of ending this relationship.
