No. Most of them are incredibly picky and will harshly put down any woman who likes them over minor flaws or being “too old” at age 26, despite them being like 40.

It’s funny to me; guys in sub have talked down to me countless times over the years about how picky women are, women’s standards are too high, how women only want “Chad” and yet with every guy I’ve dated, I’ve had men make comments that the guy wasn’t good enough for me. (The implication of course being that I should be with the guy making the comment instead, lol)

Straight guys don’t see men the way women see men. They’re also way more forgiving of women with awful personalities if they’re “decent looking”.

I think the manosphere is over-represented by men who are more likely to whine, complain and make everything sound more brutal than it actually is, so most likely no, is not.

Nah. I've managed to stumble into relationships with women I found hot pretty easily and a handful of women have tried picking me up at a bar or club. I managed this without doing half of what the pillsphere tells me I should need so either I'm super hot (lel) or there are a lot of attractive women out there who are more happy to talk, date and fuck a relatively average dude who is nice and fun to be around.

I don’t think it’s that difficult to find a woman on par with one’s own attractiveness if one is willing to approach, has decent social skills, and makes it known that one is open to a relationship. It’s more difficult if the guy is socially inept, is going after woman out of his league, or is trying to find quick casual sex.

It depends if you have things to make up for it, or how much cosmetic enhancements (makeup etc) that those girls are using to look pretty.

For instance, if you're less attractive but have a good job, a girl prettier than you is more likely to be interested in you than if you didn't have the job... which if you had to work hard or go to school to get that good job, then you actually did have to work hard in order to qualify for the pretty girl.

I actually think it's easier for men with decent social skills to get a relationship with someone above them in looks, and I'm not talking high status men either. There are more women in their twenties that want relationships than men and most women prefer to date men within five years of their own age so if you're a guy will to offer a woman commitment you have the upper hand over women in your league.

Depends on your definition of "decent." Mildly attractive isn't that hard. To get a girl that is objectively attractive is pretty rare where I live. I agree women are more likely to date down on looks, but that is generally going to be offset by the status of the man. I also have a loose general theory that the more attractive the girl, the less developed her other attributes will be.

Think about it:

~70% of American women are overweight or obese (men, too, but that's not who we're talking about). Automatically disqualified from "decent-looking."
Of the remaining 30%, subtract anyone over whatever age threshold you might have. If you're a 25-year-old single guy, you're not going to be looking for 50-year-old women.
Of what remains, subtract anyone in any sort of serious relationship. Some of them might be options, but realistically most aren't.
Now subtract women with mental health issues, fanatical religious beliefs, crazy drama, insane work schedules, and those who are otherwise seriously undesirable or simply unavailable.

So we're talking about some number that's significantly lower than 30% (maybe as low as 10-15%). And every single guy (plus plenty of taken ones) from 20-50 are all competing for them.

Yes and no. It is never easy, but you just can be lucky and do something right and attract an attractive hot female. That's how I ended up dating a 10/10 while being an ex-incel. I have pretty ugly face, especially when I put on glasses (I wear contacts usually). But what made me stand out was... I have no idea. I literally have no idea but it happened so yes, it's possible even for ugliest looking incel.
