We're all familiar with the common gripe from TRP and other struggling dudes that blame their plight on ~feminists~ and BP shills telling them to "just be nice" or "just be yourself" in order to attract women. On the surface it made sense as a complaint, because it was pretty stupid advice. But then I thought, wait a second....who really just says "be nice" and leaves it at that? And more importantly, who really relies on ONE source of information as a solution to their problems?

Contrary to what TRP says, I've never in my life spouted something like "be nice" and felt such 'advice' was sufficient. Nor have I seen many people do it either. However I've also not really encountered a great many guys who forgo the use of common sense and observation skills in favor just asking women to tell them what they want.

I don't know many guys who struggle like this, but for the ones that do, eventually it becomes apparent they need/want someone to hold their hand and literally walk them through the process of attracting women more so than simply being the victims of being given "bad dating advice" alone. These guys seemingly require primary school style, step-by-step directions as to how to do everything and refuse to comprehend anything unless it's broken down into bite sized pieces.

Instead of hearing "dress better" and looking into male fashion trends or what would suit their body types, they seem to want to be told exactly which outfit to put on. Instead of hearing they should "be more interesting" and actually working on having a wider range of hobbies and topics of conversation, they seem to need to be told exactly what books to read or things to participate in.

And that's okay. But then, is that really the fault of women or feminists? Is it the fault of 'bad advice' or a failure to think logically, critically and rationally? Is it really our fault a select few find it impossible to take abstract concepts and flesh them out for themselves?
