Even as a traditional wife you had plenty of stuff to do and your value lays in your responsibilities and duties.

From modern point of view, a lot of people thank that women get their sex/romantic relationship just be being women and it can be true to some extent, but being in relationship means that you have a half of a load.

I agree with the statement.

I think that you underestimate the greatness of those "Chads". They don't just "look good". They have great social skills, they are charming, exciting, smooth etc. They have abundance of confidence and they have all of their shit together when it comes to their mental health.

Women are the ones who just need to "look good". A woman doesn't have to be confident, she can be socialy awkward, she can be stupid as fuck, she might think that 2+2 equals 5 and she will still have a value.

On the other hand there are many attractive incels who can't get laid just because they have confidence issues, social anxiety, bad social skills etc.

Your looking at it from a personal perspective, but your statement is about a societal one.

Within a relationship or tribe, sure, there are those that do, and those that do not. The person's sex is irrelevant. When everyone is in the field picking corn, your value is by how much you contribute.

If you zoom way up to a macro level, you're describing something else when you talk about "value".

Women have "value" by existing. Men value them because of the male sex drive and because women can make babies.

Men have less intrinsic value because women do not have a comparable sex drive and their role is to be sexual selectors anyway, and men have no intrinsic value. Dick, as they say, is cheap.

In order to have "value", a man must provide something. Resources, protection, stability, social status, whatever a woman wants, which is pretty much those things.

So a man must provide, a woman must exist.

At a micro level, everyone has to provide because there is no room for valueless people.

So men have to "do" and provide a "value", women have to "be" and their existence has "value.

So my problem is this: it's really just how you frame the words.

For example, you could say she is funny (being) or you could say she tells a lot of funny jokes (doing). And you can do this for like every trait. He is a painter (being) or he paints (doing). So on and so forth.

So how ones being is, can only be know by the doing. The are intrinsic. How do you know someone if funny if they never tell jokes? If someone spends a lot of time painting, how are they not a painter?

Now, it's totally possible that in our language and culture we have a tendency to use the being frame for women and the doing frame for men, but I don't have any evidence for this. Further more, there's no real reason that it has to be this way and could just be a weird quirk of the English language.

Men have to attain value because they're not privileged with value by default like women are. Women and children are valued more than men by default. Men are viewed as being disposable, expendable, replaceable because all we need to continue our species is a small number of men and a large number of women.

Truth is all humans have to prove worth, which is fucking stupid we should have a world where everyone man or women are valued because they are humans, and if they prove otherwise, like when they kill someone for pleasure, they than are treated poorly or maybe if we can rehabilitate them, we do so. It means that women are recognized as full human beings from the get-go, opposed to men whose humanity are only recognized when they are of service for a community or a tribe.

You can see this in examples of female criminality, when a woman commits a crime she gets a shorter sentence and gets placed in a jail with more humanitarian accommodations. Because people know that they are human beings that deserve respect, dignity and reintegration into society (aka a second chance).

But, if a man commits a crime, then his humanity is called into question, he gets a harsher penalty, jails with inhumane living conditions, and zero chances for reintegration. Because men are judged based on the actions they take, if a man takes a bad action, then he gets punished as much as is legally possible.

When it comes to people bending the rules, women are willing to forgive men that they love, and society acquiesces. Those women are men's shields.

Men are the ones putting women in the “human being” box, so don’t blame us for that. I mean, if you tried to sell a woman as a relationship prospect to a man (and I have), all he would want to know is “is she hot?” If I tried to sell a dude to my friends, I would have to give a ton of information on his relationship history, education, political leanings, personality, interests, job, family, etc — “who” he is, as well as “what he does”

It's possible that the statement only serves at the outset of a relationship. Women have inherent value for a relationship because of their gender, so men approach. If a relationship forms then both people have "do" things in order to make the relationship work.

Men, however, have to "do" things before even being considered for a relationship. Women will screw "Chads" but many will not be in LTRs with them. So society bestows more value on women for being born, but reserves bestowing value on men until those men provide value to society in some way, which women then recognize and respond to by allowing themselves to be courted by men that have earned some value.

Everyone has to work. Very few men can support a whole family. Even so, it’s GFE prostitution, which is physical and emotional work, if you’re just marrying for money, and you can be traded in for a newer model and turned out into the world with no skills. Not all women are cute enough to get an arrangement where she doesn’t work for her paycheck but his, or respect themselves to little to do so.

Men are start ups. Women are venture capitalists. As the ones putting in the big investment, we vet our partners more rigorously and by different standards.

Biologically women have inherent worth because we have to make investments to reproduce. We can carry children, we have to make enormous investment in them for their survival, we may die and will definitely suffer in childbirth/the consequences thereof.

Sperm costs men almost nothing and is something freely offered by most men to most women... how many men will have casual sex with a woman they'd never date? And a man can flee at the six month mark. Pregnant women can't.

Therefore men have to prove they're worth your massive investment.

Men have to become "doings" to prove they're capable of matching the great "doing" that we will have to do if we have sex and get pregnant
