Body positivity should be about scars, birth marks, height, unconventinal skeletal and skull shapes - things beyond our control. It's now only about fat women that refused to change and whose bodily 'ugliness' is within control.

The thing that erks me is the clear double standard. These big women and their whiteknight entourage call men shallow pieces of shit for not being attracted to them, yet tons of these obese women refuse to date their rotund flabby male equals. They want fit or normal weight men. They hold men to a standard they don't have themselves. Pot kettle black.

It doesn't matter whether a man is low status or high status, tall and hot or short and homely, attraction to certain body weights isn't really a conscious choice. I'm attracted to healthy weight women (they don't have to be stunners) who catch my attention and who have a kind of electric chemistry with me. I don't feel that with fat women, I don't know how to describe it, but it isn't a logical process, it's engrained I guess.

I don't think we should shout down obese people but anyone who believes in "healthy at every size" is insane. Maybe the rising American obesity rates are a driving factor in this.

Remember though that we shouldn't single out women, everyone is guilty of this.

First of all, why do so many trolls feel the need to make "female" accounts just to validate their world views.

Second, I honestly think it's great! The fatter the better! Not for me though, I have the misfortune of being not unattractive, so I prefer fit women. But I personally think it's fantastic!

Every time I see one of these landwhales on social media or trundling through the grocery store, or stepping out of their 1999 mid sized sedan, I get to laugh and feel superior.

You know where I never see them? On dates in the real world. You know who I always see complaining about them?

It’s honestly one of the most toxic movements out there, specifically HAES. I watched a vid about it recently, basically if you’re in that community online and you dare even mention that you’re looking to lose weight, you’re out. Even if it’s for medical reasons, you’re out, and they shun hard. It’s not the loving, all accepting community they try to make it out to be.

Look for my opinion it's unhealthy to be obese I was a fat kid once then I accept it, I began to play sports like basketball and walking 4 hours a day! I balance my meals and food.

So if your obese you just accept and change your lifestyle I know it's hard but you can do it

Somebody needs to tell terps that the women doing ‘fat positivity’ on Instagram could not care less about their opinion of them, and that women are people with bodily autonomy.

People should have the right to do drugs or eat too much if they want. It makes them totally unattractive, but it’s their prerogative.
