Summary: Hella bros get confused about the differences between TRP and PUA. Prompted by an interesting comment exchange on another thread, I will attempt to articulate those differences and explain how TRP is infinitely doper than PUA.

The Map and the Territory

'The Map and the Territory' is a simple concept, yet it's also an incredibly important concept in my understanding of the world. Learn about it here.

The "Territory" is real, objective reality.

The "Map" is your perceptions and interpretations of that real, objective reality.

The Territory is everything you see around you. The Territory obeys the laws of physics. The Territory is the world itself.

The "Map" is your personal spin on everything you see around you. The Map is your emotions, your thoughts, and your memories. The map is your sensory perceptions of reality, which are ultimately the only tools you have to draw conclusions about reality.

Money Territory Over Errthang

Alpha Males concern themselves with The Territory. Throughout history, Alpha Males have been the ones who must deal with real, objective reality, unmediated by the words of other humans. Alpha males find shit out for themselves. A defining characteristic of the Alpha Male is his reluctance to accept the maps that other people present him. The Alpha male desires to engage directly with the territory itself, and form his own mental map of the territory.

Beta Males and Women, on the other hand, concern themselves with The Map. They are simply too weak to engage directly with the Territory. They can intuitively sense their own internal weakness, which causes them to question the accuracy of their sensory perceptions. Beta Males and Women subconsciously consider themselves too weak to create their own maps of the territory, so they must rely on maps created by others. (This is what I was trying to articulate in this post, which I consider to be my best post ever despite receiving zero upvotes.)

PUA is Pure Map

Here's a brief history lesson about the PUA movement.

Neil Strauss is not the father of PUA. Ross Jeffries is the father of PUA. (You may remember him from the movie Magnolia, in which talented homosexual Tom Cruise played his best role ever... a role that was based on Ross Jeffries.)

The real Ross Jeffries is nothing like Tom Cruise. He's tall, he's skinny, he doesn't lift. But he pulls bitches like it's nothing, and he does it by manipulating their mental maps.

Map People vs. Territory People

Beta Males and women are "Map People." They know they're too weak to deal with the Territory, so they concern themselves solely with the Map.

Ross Jeffries discovered how to have sex with women by manipulating their mental maps. Then Neil Strauss learned from Jeffries, removed the concept of mental maps from his teachings, and sold those teachings to the American public. For most people, Strauss' The Game was their introduction to PUA... but what they don't know is the underlying concepts that explain why PUA works. TRP knows. And TRP will teach you.

Because we are Territory People.

TRP is the Map AND the Territory AND the Relationship Between the Two

PUAs attempt to manipulate women's mental maps. PUAs attempt to change a woman's perception of the territory in order to have sex with her.

But Red Pillers are Territory People. Red Pillers change the territory itself.

TRP > PUA

PUAs seek to change a woman's perceptions of reality in order to get pussy. TRPers seek to change reality itself in order to be our best selves. As a byproduct of this process, we wind up attracting tons of pussy.

Lessons learned:

PUAs are scared to face reality, so they attempt to go inside a woman's mind and redraw her mental map.

TRPers face reality, and CHANGE reality. Then we let that bitch's mental map redraw itself.
