I definitely think this needs to be done more. Don't get me wrong, sex is sex and I have a libido, but this type and level of affection is also desirable at times. The fact that guys are coaxed to be tough, not be "huggy" (unless it leads to more), and essentially be robots whose only emotions are happy or angry/aggressive. I might have an interesting perspective on this. With heterosexual women, I gave affection constantly. But I never received any in return. If I showed one sliver of my emotions, I could see the rejection immediately. 99.99% of the time, I'm an emotionless robot that fucks and makes funny jokes. But if I ever showed any weakness, it was game over for the relationship.

I've been with over 65 women. I've been with every type of woman you could imagine. Book worm, hippie chick, sporty, Tom-boy, conservative, church girl, party girl, band camp girl, and even a couple of models. None of them would ever give unconditional affection. If the VERY RARE occasion did happen, it felt labored as a choir.

There are two women that this theory did not hold up. Both were lesbians. They told me up front that they were lesbians. It usually started as a friendship thing or roommates. But they both eventually initiated the sex. And these were separate relationships, they were a few years apart. They dated women, but still wanted to be dicked down by a man. Once the sex started, we would become more relaxed around each other. They both wanted to rub me, give back tickles, pet me, etc all the time. It was great. But it was too the point that I had sensory overload at times. I wasn't fully compatible with either, as they presued long term relationships with women. Both of them married another woman. These weren't bi-curious college girls.

I will agree 100% that heterosexual women would tell me that I was too emotionally cold. Then if I showed one tiny bit of emotion, I was told to man up. It was kind of a mind fuck. There is a correlation. If I'm less emotional, the relationship is stronger. If I'm more emotional, the relationship is weaker. It's like there is no respect for a man that shows emotion. That's the best way I can word it. Men need more male friendships in today's society. Your male friends will not judge you for being yourself. They will actually respect you for it. And if the rare occasion comes up when you have to show emotion, your males friends will be there for you. I promise, the women will shun you.

I’m apologizing to my karma beforehand because everyone here complaining, bemoaning, and generalizing the male-female relationship sounds like a virgin. Women don’t live for drama in their relationships and if you believe they do, I think that says more about yourself than any woman. Everyone has emotional/physical wants and needs and those wants/needs will continue to exist, regardless of who is in what relationship. If your girl actually tells you that her emotional needs aren’t being met - well I’m no expert - but it’s probably because you’re a dick with no empathy. I want a love like this too, but this kind of relationship is earned, earned with trust, with honesty, with transparency, with empathy, and with real compassion to what the other person is going through. I don’t need to buy a doll to know that there is absolutely no feeling on earth like the embrace of two people who - in that moment at least - feel only for each other. Instead of seeking the easy way, (like a lot of us are prone to do) I’ll earn my gals trust and compassion so that we can genuinely share something like this; not complain about where our relationship is going because I’m too lazy to give a damn about her general feelings and musings because “she always talks about shit that I think is pointless” because I cant see past my ego that is so erect that it’s gotten stuck in some silicone doll filled with lotion and unborn babies.
