Theres retards everywhere in society and every where you look. Whatever you want to find on the internet to confirm anything, you'll be able to find. Want to find a vid if ghosting is bad? You'll find it. Want to find a vid that ghosting is good? You'll find it. The trick is to have your own iron clad convictions in the world about how you see it and what that means about how you'll conduct yourself.

This obviously comes with experience and you sound young but as long as you think critically about everything you hear and if that conforms with all your previous experiences in life then you can at least know it makes some sense to you or not.

I ghosted a serious ONEitis a few months ago and it was the best move I ever made, AND, she was an LDR too (well, I was an LDR orbiter it seems. Just about the worst position to be in). I would also counter that with “because it was an LDR I can’t really be sure”, well, because it’s an LDR this should probably actually make you REALLY sure lol

Ghosting is pretty bizarre in that you start to forget about them just like you start to forget about any bad habit. Cheating is an absolute deal breaker. NEVER let your "feelz" put this up for negotiation. You did EXACTLY what any guy with an once of self-respect would have done. Once she cheats, you're gone. Some people can't change and it's not your fault. I feel bad sometimes about cutting people off, but then I remember the problems they give me like nagging, making fun, etc. It's really bad for you mentally and emotionally.

Women are very good at making themselves look better than who they really are and that's thanks to the media as well. The way I see it, you always have options.

the first is to ignore what's actually bothering you. maybe even apologize when you are aren't in the wrong. be a peacemaker. This will only allow the other party to continue to walk all over you. They will escalate, you will be taken advantage of, and hopefully, you'll reach a snapping point sooner than later.

The second thing you can do a try and have a conversation like civilized adults. It sounds good, doesn't it? We can be mature, emphatic, reasonable human beings, right? We can just talk it out.

If you believe that, I have a whole bottle of blue pills to sell you, and it ain't viagra. In my personal experiences, this doesn't happen. Your words and feelings will get twisted. You will be the bad guy.

The best option in my humble opinion is not to deal with that, as you did by ghosting. You're an adult. You don't need to put up with bad antics from anyone. You don't even need to put up with my text. It shows yourself and everyone who deals with you that your time is worth more than this shitshow. And it truly is.

Your sanity must come first. It's best to minimize those who could have a negative effect on it. In the meantime, lift, pursue your passions, and not worry about what some woman with her own agenda is doing.

The first time I ghosted someone, it felt super awkward, mind you we had adjoined assigned seating, so it was on the soft end but it was clear I was no longer available. It didn't make any sense when following the program blindly, but in hindsight, it was the best possible decision I could have ever made. It changed something in me that helped me realize how easy it is to lose oneself in the pursuit of other things. Follow through and it'll be worth it, always.

I ghosted a cheating ex once and it was extremely satisfying.... When I was about 30 I was six months into a really good committed relationship with woman in her late twenties. She became pregnant, moved in with me, and 9 months later we had my son. Immediately after giving birth she went bat shit crazy and we found out she was suffering from postpartum psychosis. I had to hire a nanny to baby sit this crazy bitch and keep her from hurting my son. After 8 months in hell I had reached my limit and decided to take her to court and sue for full custody. I looked for advise from a few friends who had been through bad divorces and one of them said I should get a DNA test before going to court. I asked why and he said that his cousin had witnessed something but didn't want to get involved without knowing if the kid was mine or not. It turns out that just before getting pregnant, the cousin and my girlfriend went on a drunken bar hopping bachelorette weekend with her girlfriends. My girlfriend ran into an ex-boyfriend at one of the bars, fucked in the bathroom, and then went back to partying. So I secretly took my son in for a paternity test and 4 months later I got the results.... I was not the father.... It was a lucky coincidence that my girlfriend, her family, and "my son" were going out of town for a few days to family reunion. My girlfriend's parents lived nearby and I knew where they hid a spare key. So after they left I packed up all her and the kid's stuff in garbage bags and left it all in her parent's living room. I also left a copy of the DNA test and a long letter explaining how she cheated on me and all the crazy shit she had done in the last year. I was renting a nice house in a nice neighborhood and a friend was always telling me he wanted first dibs on my place if I ever moved. I called him and he jumped at the chance to take over my lease. I told the landlord my story and she was OK with my friend moving in. I packed all my stuff in a u-haul, quit my job that I hated, and left. I found better work in another state and never looked back. I told my friend that he needed to change the locks ASAP because my girlfriend was going to freak out when she came back. I also asked my friend to tell my now ex-girlfriend that I had simply moved into an apartment across town, not that I had left the state... Everything else I heard from friends after I left... So a few days later my ex comes home and can't get in the door and flips out when my friend opens it but won't let her in. She calls the cops and is in the process of raising hell with the police when her mom calls her and tells her that all of her stuff is on the living room floor and she needs go there right now. My friend said it like watching an episode of Jerry Springer. Now I was fine leaving it at that and keeping it between us, but the next day our friends were calling me asking what had happened, and that my ex was shit talking me all over town and saying that I had abandoned them on the street. So I told everyone what she had done and they were like, "what a cunt"... So for the next two weeks I get e-mails from my ex telling me that I'm a bastard for abandoning them and I need to man up and take care of my responsibilities, never acknowledging that she cheated on me and got pregnant by another man, fucking psycho... Then word got out and she sent me e-mails telling me that I was an asshole, I ruined her reputation, and she was humiliated. The whole time she thought that I was still living and working nearby. She sent me hate mail for six months before she realized that I was in another state. I heard that she eventually found some loser sugar daddy to take care of her and her kid. And now she's a miserable alcoholic.

I don't ghost people, but that's just out of personal principle. I get why people do it. I've had a couple of girls do it to me, I just see it as immature. I'd rather just tell someone it isn't working out or that I don't want to see them anymore. That way, it's hard initially but we both don't waste anymore time and can move on. An added benefit is that if you break things off you end things on your terms and hold frame.
