Christianity isn't blue pill or red pill, it's above all that. Both blue and red pill guys are called to be holy and can be saved. I think in modern times christianity has been impacted by blue pill ideas and been tainted by them but core teachings from Jesus are not blue pill or red pill. Alphas still have a responsibility to help the poor, be humble, and avoid sin.

How do you define weakness?

Christ took on flesh to prove a point - for a period he was impoverished in many ways. Financially He was "reliant" on the faithfulness of his followers. Spiritually he was exhausted and weary. Physically, he was beaten and killed. However all of this was to show his true capabilities. That Christ couldn't be stopped even by death itself.

His teachings are radical - do not fear death. Do not find ego in possessions(money) do not worry yourselves with the opinions of others (simping out or pedistalizing). He calls man to make their lives harder (by living virtuously and honorably) so their spirits can be strengthened.

We don’t follow Jesus because His Word is red pill or blue pill; we follow Him and His Word because it is true. If red pill orthodoxy does not square with God, guess what - it’s the wrong path.

As the Westminster catechism states:

Q:What is the chief end of man?

A. Man's chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.

RPC helps us have the courage to pursue this end, which in turn helps us (among other things) lead the women in our lives, which in turn leads to (among other things) satisfying relations with our wives.

Modern western mainstream "Christianity" (We tend to call it churchianity around here) is definitely blue pilled. Historic Christianity? Not blue pilled.

I am not seeing in Scripture a basis for anything Red Pill.

Consider this post on Joseph in Genesis 39.

Check out the way Proverbs 6 and 7 lays out female nature. Consider the way women's behavior and motives are portrayed in Ezekiel 16. Later we see that women were not to teach men:

"I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet." - 1 Timother 2:12

"women are to be silent in the churches. They are not permitted to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says." - 1 Corinthians 14:34

St. Chrysostom:

"...the female sex is weak and fickle...” “...God maintained the order of each sex by dividing the business of life into two parts, and assigned the more necessary and beneficial aspects to the man and the less important, inferior matter to the woman.”

St. Augustine:

“I don’t see what sort of help woman was created to provide man with, if one excludes procreation. If woman is not given to man for help in bearing children, for what help could she be? To till the earth together? If help were needed for that, man would have been a better help for man. The same goes for comfort in solitude. How much more pleasure is it for life and conversation when two friends live together than when a man and a woman cohabitate?”

“Watch out that she does not twist and turn you for the worse. What difference does it make whether it is in a wife or in a mother, provided we nonetheless avoid Eve in any woman?

John Knox:

“Woman in her greatest perfection was made to serve and obey man . . .”

“Nature I say, paints women further to be weak, frail, impatient, feeble and foolish: and experience has declared them to be inconstant, variable, cruel and lacking the spirit of counsel and regiment or, leadership.”

Make no mistake, historic Christians understood well the nature of women and operated accordingly.

Modern Christianity has turned into this milk toast it's all love and peace religion.

Jesus was killed for being out spoken, disciplined, and holding others to account with a high level of expectation.

Being meek, Biblically, means to be capable of exerting great force and authority but being temperate in how you wield that ability. By extension and scripturally supported is to teach and guide, but with a high level of expectation and rebuke considerately not to punish but to course correct.

Modern Christian men, have a lot of times, allowed their balls to be cut off.

I remember hearing "meek" is actually supposed to mean something like "a man who is good with a sword but uses it as a last resort". Idk what one word in english would mean that.

I've been thinking about making a post talking about my response here, but the long and short of it is this: we as a culture are incredibly soft. In the time of Christ, and for the next 2000 years, the average man was faced with hardships we do not conceive of or experience. The worst fate that befalls any of us is that we become first-world poor and have to live at home or in a cheap studio apartment and work at tractor supply. Still safe, clothed, warm, dry. At worst we get a sickness or disease and we sit in a similarly safe, warm hospital and receive great medical care. Our great grandparents would probably have been given a bite stick and some cocaine to take the edge off the pain.

My point here is that hard men in hard cultures rarely need to be told to be harder. They need to be told that violence is not better than peace, and rage not better than meekness. That kindness is not weakness, and a gentle answer turns away wrath. They need to be told to examine themselves for sinful thoughts and curtail sinful actions, so they don't round up Dmitry and Artaches and go beat the hell out of Wlodimir for some perceived slight.

Personally I need to be told to be gracious, patient, and forgiving far more often than I need to be told to be strong and courageous.

That said, we are commanded to be strong and courageous. We're told to 'Be on guard; stand firm in your faith. Act like [mature] men and be courageous; be strong.' - 1 Cor 16:13

Our examples of men of strength and courage butchered entire cities of their enemies, putting to the sword men, women, and children. They killed lions with a jawbone, and fat slovenly kings with a swords through the gut. David, the man after God's own heart, killed his 'tens of thousands'. And this isn't limited to just killing stuff. Stephen was stoned to death and didn't cry out, and Christ was horribly tortured and hung on a cross without grumbling. Job lost his entire family and laid on the ground suffering in body and spirit and refused to curse God. These were men of iron will and great inner strength.

If you want metal, read the book of revelation. Dragons, locusts, riders of plague, war, famine, and death. A dragon waiting to eat the baby as it comes out of a pregnant woman, then she gets eagle wings and a bunch of angels (sometimes described as flaming, glowing metal beings with four heads like eagles and lion heads, and four wings) fight the dragon and his demons. Absolute iron maiden level chaos.

Thats really beside the point though, the purpose of the bible is not to be red pilled. The red pill likes to think of itself as this collection of new ideas explaining relationships and psychology. Its laughably limited in that regard. All of the knowledge of TRP was already in the world long before anyone conceived of the idea of a manosphere. RP ideas are just old-world patriarchy, established by the winners of history, who happened to be catholic and orthodox Christians. Solomon literally had like a thousand wives and payed exactly 0 child support. Samson had his eyes gouged out and was crushed by stone pilars for being a SIMP.

If you don't think the bible is a red pilled document, you probably haven't read it.

The nature of Christianity, as others have pointed out, is one of truth. RP has no monopoloy on truth, in fact they teach many things are patently false and ridiculous to believe, and are often less severe or harsh than they should be. Additionally, another function of Christianity is as a bastion against degeneracy and societal decay. Pagans are usually faggy neckbeard larper degenerates who would be gutted and flayed by a 14th century holy paladin of Charlemagne. Some of them are probably cool guys who just want to preserve the culture of their ancestors in a society that tells them they have no culture or ancestry worth saving. But I doubt you will ever see anyone willing to die for the tree spirits who isn't a chick with hairy armpits and a gigantic bush that smells like incense.

When you say red-pilled, I guess you mean with respect to intersexual relationships. In that case, many of the OG red pillers view Christianity as defined in biblical text to be extremely red pill. “The Bible is the most red pill book on the planet.” -M

Others have written a lot of good stuff on this already, but my personal thoughts:

One great feature of being "red-pilled" that has jumped out to me the most is the matter of freedom of choice. I realized this when I read the secular book "When I Say No, I Feel Guilty". What makes a man red-pilled is that he maintains complete control of himself and of his destiny, and conversely also respects the right of others to their own self-determination. Applied to women, this means being properly assertive, to prevent her from controlling you, but without being manipulative, i.e. controlling her against her will. This is the most successful strategy for a long and happy relationship.

In addition to being free from the influence of others, however, the red-pilled man must also be free from the influence of his own desires. If he is stuck in alcoholism, for example, he does not have complete control over his actions, and thus is not totally red-pilled.

Now in Christianity, God's commandments are not meant to take away our freedom, but to give us greater freedom from ourselves. Our sins addict us and trap us. Others are therefore able to manipulate us via the same pathways as the sins that we are addicted to. Or, we are at least more inclined to let them.

God wants to bring us red-pilled freedom, not blue-pilled slavery. It's why He created us with free will. He wants us to love Him of our own accord, in the same way that we want our wives to love us of their own accord.

As for pagans: The Viking Age ended because of Christian swords - they ended up converting. Rome converted. Christians took down pagan religions in the old days - the Conquistadors for example. Actually the Reconquista was a fine example of Christian martial victory too against Islam. The modern Pagan LARPer is just that...

Definitions,...that's where,...defintions.

For example:

"Meek" does not mean "weak". They only rhyme, they don't mean the same thing. "Meek" means "Strength under control". In other words self control blended with power.

Self-examination of sin = Recognizing truth, knowing yourself, and facing reality. There is nothing that isn't RP about that.

Emphasis is on poverty = Depends on "what" poverty. If you look at it from a Leftist viewpoint like you are some kind of amateur welfare system, then it is BP, but if you look at it from the perspective of "Teaching someone to fish" so they can feed themselves and be self sufficient, the self sufficiency is all RP.

Where the BP comes into play with Christianity is not from scripture. Those are misinterpretations and misapplications that can be straightened out. It comes from feminism and how feminism and the feminine supremacy mindset has infiltrated the church by coming in the back door. While the church fought against the frontal attack at the front door (politics and social movements) they fell to it from the back door as it came in via the women who were already part of them and accepted by them. It was the boiling frog example. One of the benign examples of it is when you hear a wife say "I let my husband lead the family". That implies that she had the authority to do so and hence had the authority to deny him that. No, the man was already the head of household because God deemed him so,...she never had anything to do with it.

Most people’s view of redpill / alpha behavior basically boils down to “make money / fuck bitches”. Don’t fall into that shallow thinking. The real heart of it is having a purpose and living out that purpose.

Just look at Jesus. He eschewed the approval of men in favor of God’s approval. He CHOSE to live a life of service and poverty - it wasn’t forced on him. He was anything but meek in his dealings with people in power. In fact, he was a straight-up gangster.

If you make the emphasis on poverty, you're doing it wrong. The emphasis is on the mission. You should be willing to spend YOURSELF to get the mission accomplished. If you happen to go broke doing it ... then so be it.

If you're emphasis is on a self-examination of sin, then I believe you're doing it wrong there, too. As you aim to accomplish the goal the Lord has set forth, then you will see how you regularly fail to hit your mark. Again ... the emphasis is on doing what the Lord has put you here to do. The emphasis isn't on how much suck you bring to the table.

the bible and its writers in many ways were red pill who fought their internal and external blue pill thinking. so in those days, redpill was not in the sense of being alpha, like attracting women, being stoic, physically strong, etc like we want to see it now.....

....through out the bible it was like God kept giving people redpills to swallow because we( believers- or the early jews) would just not see the world as it was. they always wanted more to what there was. people couldn't accept that there was one true God. They needed to make kings or a golden calf to worship. They couldn't accept Jesus coming and being a poor carpenter , they wanted a great warrior by their standards.

the people in those days were just like the ones today....they just can't accept the reality of this sinful world. They have to put a filter on the picture, wear heavy makeup, and play princesses in Disneyland

Christianity is not a religion. It is a relationship with Jesus, who carried out his mission on Earth without a single flaw. Jesus came to Earth to be crucified so that mankind can have salvation.

As Christians we should strive to reflect Jesus the best we can.
