“Don’t listen to what men say, watch what they do” - my mom, who passed away two weeks ago

My mom was the HBIC of my family. My dad worshiped her. She was a highly respected attorney, Law Professor of 30+ years, and worked for the Supreme Court in her 20’s. She made it clear, without verbally expressing it, that she expected excellence from everyone who crossed her path. I strive to be as intimidating as she was.

Her other motto was “get a prenup”.
