I believe these allegations were conveniently planted by an American source at the same time when Meghan Markle’s staff were quitting in short succession after incredibly short stints, followed by prince Harry’s long time secretary. Imo, it was a distraction from the drama going on at Frogmore to divert attention to the Cambridge’s. The supposed affair partner, Rose Marchioness of Cholmodeny, has been seen in public and private social events as close to the Duke and Duchess as always.

I don’t think being a forever girlfriend to the future King qualifies as we generally understand it. There was no way she was goi to get proposed to at age 22 after dating him for two years. Keep in mind she is to be Queen Consort and mother to second, third and fourth in line to the throne (so far).

As for their breakup, it is widely known that the broke up a mere 6 weeks, because precisely, the Duke, who was just as young as her (in fact a bit younger) was reluctant to marry.

Not reluctant to marry her, as they reconciled and had a steady relationship until they were engaged and married. Again, different timelines also go allow Catherine to ease into what life as a royal would and should be, and she’s adjusted flawlessly.

This is not Vanessa and Austin’s 9 years of dating (I adored this couple btw).
