Once again, women are to blame for the problems that men create.

I mean, she has a point that marrying men like this is a mistake - and I’m glad that FDS exists to hopefully reach women before they reach this point.

But she doesn’t acknowledge the cultural pressure and brainwashing that convinced these women that this male behaviour was acceptable in the first place.

The comments are horrendous - so much hatred for women feeling frustrated at the failures of men without anyone questioning the shitty behaviour of men in the first place.

I don’t see how anonymously venting about how shitty of a husband and father your partner is to women in the same situation as you is a bad thing. It seems healthy. And they can provide good advice.

It’s always been about “DON’T EMASCULATE YOUR HUSBAND”. “Talking shit about your husband behind his back emasculates him! Go to him directly!” Even anonymously ranting about the problems in your marriage can emasculate him. Pathetic. If you’ve directly communicated a problem to him several times and he still hasn’t changed maybe he needs to be emasculated.

People, men and women, tend to lack serious empathy for women. No one ever questions why a guy does X and Y it is always instead put on the women for being treated the way she is. But think about female socialization where as a little baby you’re given toys about cleaning, childcare and cooking and then there’s cultural conditioning in the home pushed on you for domestic responsibility.

Women also in the romantic and relationship sense have the message drilled in them that love and it’s duties for women means being sacrificing. Or that men’s behaviour when you’re dating is going to be better behaviour than it ends up being years later after they’re done trying to impress you.

But no women should shut up and never voice their frustration instead of being listened to or even have private spaces to vent online

I read some of her responses and she seems very naive and ignorant and unable to think outside of black and white or simple ideas.

I’m the OP of that thread. You’re intentionally misreading it 🤷🏼‍♀️ i’m not saying that we shouldn’t be disgusted by the men. I’m saying that women are intelligent, capable himan beings with agency. We are accountable for our relationships. I was frustrated at the ‘venting’ and suggestions for petty revenge by other commenters, rather than a woman actually DOING something about it. Relationships aren’t just imposed on us by some third party. If you marry a lazy bastard, don’t be surprised when he acts like a lazy bastard. Sorry if you wanted blanket sympathy instead of being held accountable for your life!
