I dated this guy who could not (COULD NOT) say something he was interested in. The only think he wanted to do was make money. He had no interests - he had no ideas. I don’t think he even had real friends (I think it’s common for guys to actually lack intimate friendships). It’s shocking - ladies let’s change the way we raise our sons and that starts with having an exemplary baby daddy

No kidding. But I’d say the same is true for a whole lot of woman out there too. I think it’s 50/50. My brother and I were just talking about this. He’s an amazing multidimensional person with varied interests and high intelligence and humor. I seek out the same in the people I surround myself with. Many women I know have multiple interests and we can go from topic to topic learning from each other and getting a kick out of how amazing life is. And then I get in the dating scene and it’s like 9.9/10 are sooo boring. Like, if it’s our first date, you have had an entire lifetime of experiences and you are so dry you can’t think of something you read, watched, listened to, appreciated, created, or was wowed by in the week before we met?! Shocking. Check please! I know I bring a good conversation game and it feels like a time-suck when I’m the only one with things to bring to the table .

Aaaand on he opposite side of the bell curve we have faux philosopher types, high on ego and superiority with low IQs quoting Jordan Peterson, Bitcoin, wannabe-Mr.Robot etc. In the middle there are good, interesting, quality men. We’ve all met a few. I got my graduate degree is social work and these men are amazing. Altruistic, many have first degrees in liberal arts, creative, or education. They’ve done their homework on emotions, vulnerability, deconstructing the harmful learned behaviors of masculinity. Most of them are married but hey...

So often will I go out on a date with a guy that has zero charm and can only really talk about his job. It’s kind of appalling and it makes me afraid we’re not teaching the boys in our society an essential skill of being able to interact with other people in meaningful ways.

They just don't care, they try to put in as little effort as possible. Many don't seek out new hobbies, or try to learn new things. The laziest / boring men are on OLD.
