I have a teenage daughter (18f) Love her, adore her, she’s an absolute intelligent angel. But like most young women/teenage girls in this generation- she has fallen victim to the new sIut movement. She turned 18 in August and a week after, she got hired at a strip club. Had been practicing stripper moves while 17. Then this month, she decided to join Onlyfans. She got a lot of subscribers, old men who like looking at teenaged girls and she boasted about it all over social media while posting inappropriate photos on her twitter and Instagram. All the comments were from old men or other girls and women hyping her up. I commented telling her to take these down or I’d cut off her phone service. I got bombarded with replies telling me that I’m misogynistic, stop controlling her, she’s 18 and can do what she wants (Please, she’s still in high school.) and that I should mind my business. When my daughter came home from wherever she was that day, I told her she needs to take those photos down, delete her Onlyfans, and quit this little strip gig and get a real job. My daughter has many different skills, she would get hired at a respectable place in an instant. She told me she can do what she wants, that she feels liberated & empowered, and to let her make her own decisions. I have been so upset and hurt. I hate that people basically told me off and acted like I’m not allowed to be upset over my extremely young daughter who is still in HIGH SCHOOL doing this. I have failed her and I’ve failed as a father to protect her from this new generation‘s “women’s liberation.”
