After I got sexually assaulted I tried to take my power back by having lots and lots of consensual sex. I also enjoyed the seemingly "unconditional" adoration of the men during sex, their full attention, their desire. But they are not there for you, they don't care about your preferences or your heart, or your physical safety (most men don't get tested they just take women's word for it, and many women take men's word for it or they are lied to so this is how stds circulate amongst unknowing transmitters).

I think the ddlg stuff targets these women as well who have the hole in their soul. I used to fill it with sex and pron. I found Jesus and He gives me all the love, care and protection I was looking for. These men will never provide it. Sometimes even a husband can't provide it. I used to get hurt and used so easily. Jesus and God are protecting me and honestly it's part of the patriarchal lie that "christianity is oppressive to women". That shit is what made me stop going to church and start having "empowered, liberated sex". I continued this way for ten years from fifteen to twenty five. I was a broken shell of a person with no self respect or esteem and the men will reflect that back to you. I was seeking love .. connection.. Safety.. protection? I feel so much better with Jesus than with any man. I don't hate men and I don't judge women for having sex but I was ACTIVELY deceived by culture and social media and internet pron that having sex was cool and fun, and your lame Christian family and friends are lame and a thing of an archaic patriarchal past.

God gave us free will so no we don't have to choose Him but I sure wish I did a lot sooner. It could have protected me from so many broken moments of rejection (yes, men will reject you and then have sex with you and you are so deceived you think it would be okay to just be friends with benefits). To pregnancy scares, to chlamydia. And men don't treat you with respect when they find out you've had multiple sexual partners, even if you test 100% clean and have been abstinent for years.

Casual sex is my biggest regret.
