Women who are angry at men are seen as "unfeminine". There is no male equivalent of this phenomenon: when a man is angry at women it is not considered emasculating. If anything, hating women is seen as extra manly.

I always thought of men that hated and bullied women as weak. I lost all respect for my first boyfriend because of how he treated me. He would get drunk and yell at me. I thought of him as an emasculated wimp after that. I even called him a pussy during sex once (oops, on accident it just slipped out my bad 🤷🏼‍♀️). Only the most pathetic of men take out their anger on women. It is incredibly fragile and weak and they know that they just don’t want us to know that.

Yes, when a man is angry at a woman and expresses it in a threatening way. It’s seen as confirmation of his masculinity and power. He “put her in her place/ checked her”.

When a woman is angry at a man she’s seen as unfeminine and moves into the realm of male challenge and threat. Most men see it as an affront to their dignity that a woman dare correct or just approach them in a way that is not fawning and deferential and the misogynistic mind set causes them to go into attack mode, even when a valid concern is being expressed.
