It makes sense that the ac should be higher. Women get to wear skirts and open to shoes. Of course they're going to be cold. Men going around in mandatory 3 piece suits. For $400 it should breathe. It's not women's fault they can put together an outfit that breathes at H&M for $30 and wear it to work. It's the patriarchy.

As a guy who thrives in colder working conditions than even my male colleagues, the amount of times Ive had to explain this is astonishing (I work factory floor, not office): "look mate, we are both wearing tshirts right now. You think it's too cold, I think it's nearly too warm. Whats the best solution here, that we get the temp up and I go shirtless, or maybe you go and put on a fucking sweater" (or god fucking forbid actually do some work and get warm that way...)'

Yes it is sexist.. The ideal temperature for the human body (at least as far as brown vs white fat production is concerned) is 19C. I have no problem working in 19C as it's often 5-10 above outside, except my female coworkers complain it's too cold.
