I disagree with all these people saying this isn't PPD. The entitlement that the girl is showing (that men don't generally show in the same category/fashion) is exactly the satisfying "put them in their place" that this sub needs. No I think Bryan Carter is wrong. In Detroit day Care is 3k per month. That's fucking crazy. Most places outside of the US have it for 100-200 per month.

Considering this is “Pussy” Pass Denied i would consider this post out of place here. The points made are equally important for male or female. Birth control helps prevent abortion, welfare, abandoned children, and many other social problems that plague most states. Day care services allow parents to work, a necessary and beneficial aspect of our economy which helps support our governments mandatory spending. Also helps keep the family self sufficient. Finally, having kids is essential to the growth and continued success of our nation. Our population is already in decline, without the source of immigrants. With our deteriorating infrastructure we will not be able to maintain a quality of life that we currently enjoy. We must reproduce and work to allow taxable income to pay for our utilities, roads, etc.

Not to mention birth control is cheaper than water and child care subsidies would be provided as a deduction on income taxes, wouldnt cost you tight ass Republicans anything out of pocket.

If you are female, don't have sex if you don't want babies. That's your "free" birth control. If you are female, don't have children if you don't want to be in poverty or lose job opportunities. Sex is a choice and if you choose to have it, you have to suffer the consequences. If you don't want to be sexually harassed at work, stop dressing like a slut or quit your job. Feminazis are cancer and need to realize that women must be accountable for special responsibilities when it comes to childcare and reproduction due to their biology. They need to stop demanding for free stuff from the government and take responsibility for their own actions.

Something I never understood was why employers/the government should provide birth control. The only thing that got me close to understanding was that it helped prevent shitty/irresponsible people from having kids, but why don't they supply free condoms then?

Most developed countries offer paid maternity leave for woman or man (after the first 14 days of birth they can choose what parent who takes the maternity leave). Subsidised child care and pre-K. Just like health care. USA is the last country not yet getting it. This is not a PPD.

this is not PPD. These are normal things that we should all be able to afford. Our parents could, but they got paid reasonable wages. I work in IT for one of the largest insurance companies out there, nd I couldn't afford what she's asking for. None of these things are unreasonable.

She's not asking for all of this stuff to be given to her for nothing, but I bet she'd appreciate a good enough wage to be able to afford these things. I would too.

There should be two things the government pays for. Things that benefit everyone equally and things that save society money in the long run.

Birth control saves money in the long term. Maternity leave is a special privilege for only people who have kids which is a personal choice. She has child care options which is a choice. Education is something that pays off in the long term for society though I'm not sure how necessary pre k is. People should be safe in general.

I agree with all of the above...except paid maternity leave. Western countries have a big natality problem and encouraging to have children is a good thing. Now, the rest, like I said is too much, but having a decent income while women can't work and having the safety of a workplace when they can come back to work it's a win win for the goverment. Not only newly mothers can reintegrate more easily in the work field, but a younger population is better at sustaining a healthy economy. Even China dropped the "one child" rule precisely because it aged the population, putting a severe economic strain on the country.

This is irrelevant to this sub. My fiance and i between us have 4 kids, and we do fine getting by. However, because of the price of childcare, she cannot afford to work. it costs more money for daycare than she makes at work. She's going back to college next year to change that.

He's what happens in pure libertarian worlds. Everyone must pay the full cost of child rearing on their own, no subsidy from government in any way. This is around a million dollars a child in lost income, health and education costs, food etc etc. This drives down childbirth significantly, as people can really afford to have no children or one child. Then, these people in pure libertarian land eventually get older. The working population gets older, wants to retire, but the economy has gone to shit as there are not enough young, fit people to fill the jobs and continue the growth. There are no young people to look after the masses of old, old age homes go up in cost to extortionate levels, people have enough money to retire but the money is severely devalued as the things they need have a price that's gone through the roof due to the lack of younger work force.

His argument is straw man bullshit. Also no ppd. She doesn't mention the government so I'll defer to the DNC platform which I'm sure this guy is against. Birth control mandatory as part of health insurance plans. She would be paying not the government. Also I don't know about you guys but I like women having access to birth control because I like to fuck them and not make a baby. Childcare options. Options imply choice which to me says - consumer choice - a tenant of free market economics. We choose the best options and those that invest in these options have their businesses succeed. Also once again I don't know about you guys but there are plenty of men that want this too for good reason. Safe work place is definitely also a men's rights issue. We get killed on the job way too often and WAY more than women. Paid maternity leave is the only real demand here. That also would not require the government because once again this is an insurance issue - insurance that she would be paying for - not the government. Yeah there would probably be subsidized insurance but that would also benefit men and help offset the cost of the extra mandated coverage for women.

This is a political post and a shitty one at that.

I understand that egalitarianism is a big part of libertarianism and a huge part of PPD so many of you are subbed to both. Doesn't mean this has to turn into a "hurr durr liberal tears" sub. You set Men's rights back and marginalize the movement when you mix it up with alt-right shit. They might have the White House but ultimately this is a political fad with no longevity because it excludes women and minorities. I know plenty of women who love a good ppd and plenty of black dudes too. Let's not turn them off to sharing wonderful moments when women don't get special treatment for having a pussy by turning this place into the Donald.
