Passport info might be relevant if you are going to a sexpat location alot? But unless you have major ties to a different country or hold multiple passports this is just fishing on their part.

Onlyfans is only relevant if you are a content creator and making money off that...

Be the adult and have your lawyer shut this shit down, or play the game and request all the ex's std test results l, info about her earnings from onlyfans, any and all information about all men she has had sex with etc....

I have a great answer. And I wish the mods would pin this issue in the sidebar. It comes up a lot.

First, in many states, there is a limit to discovery. In my state, the limit is something like 25 questions. Whatever. But nothing stops the opposing lawyer from TRYING to ask more. They hope you don't know the limit. They hope you'll be intimidated into cooperating. In my case, the opposing lawyer asked 10 questions, but each question had 5 sub-parts. Something like that.

I answered the first 25, and refused to answer the others, and cited the law. The lawyer didn't challenge me on that.

Next, lawyers will ask for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Don't feel pressured. It is 100% perfectly acceptable to object to a discovery question. But, you can't object just because you don't like it. You have to cite a legal objection. You can Google a list of objections. And THIS result is a good read. It contains the classic objection: Plaintiff objects to this interrogatory as vague, ambiguous, argumentative, overbroad, unduly burdensome, and not reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence.

Passport info? Onlyfans? WTF? Unless it's related to the case, I would definitely object. They're on a fishing expedition and/or trying to humiliate you.

You can always say not applicable, not available or not relevant to any discovery request. You need to understand your rights. This is not an inquisition. Its their job to discover any asset they think you may have hidden, not your job to help them find it. I really hope you were smart enough to hide something!

Lots of that stuff, like what you did with money, is relevant and standard. I got asked for 3 years' worth of all financial transactions. However, you CAN say no to stuff that's not relevant and a judge probably won't order you to give everything they ask for. My ex asked for all my internet IDs on all sites. My lawyer told them no. And, it's all relevant up until the divorce final date, so I had to update the discovery data a couple of times, to make sure it was accurate.

I think my wife did not want to go to trial because she was hiding something. Luckily we didn’t because it would have been so much more money. I had nothing to hide, but wouldn’t have wanted to go through that or pay for that. It’s weird how they could ask for gambling stuff when the other spouse might be causing just as much damage being on social media 24/7. It’s all so arbitrary.

That would be the speech I would practice… however it is also likely you are doing too much already. Stop taking this personally. Look at it as standard gamesmanship with high stakes. If you have fallen for the bait and sent dumb messages, all you can do is stop making it worse.

These matters get resolved in a few short years. I’m not saying fold I’m saying keep your head on straight. Don’t take the bait! Do things that make it easy for the judge to accept your proposals.

You would be surprised how much you can get away with not releasing. You have to have a little bit of courage. And ability to speak up against the judge. Letting him know that the discovery requests are so extensive they are disrupting and interfering with your life. And that the judge should be very specific about what she can and cannot ask for so that request can be completed with minimal time.
