Earlier this year, my wife expressed her intention to end our 20-year marriage for no specific reason, citing only an accumulation of situations over the years. It was discussed that we would start preparing for divorce after we finished school.

As the months went by, the rupture that existed disappeared, and we returned to living as a couple. Everything is as it was a year ago. In my opinion, we still face the same challenges in our marriage, mainly the lack of communication. We still cannot clarify what were the differences and problems that led to the breakup and the intention to divorce.

During these months, I prepared for the divorce, planning what my life would be like after the end of the marriage. Throughout the marriage, I felt like I gave up many things, including myself, without receiving what I consider fair reciprocity.

With the end of the marriage, I planned to renew friendships and dedicate myself again to the things I always liked, but now I'm in a dilemma. My desire is to get married, have a family for my children and have someone by my side who truly loves me.

Right now, I'm confused and worried about the possibility of another breakup in a few months. First and foremost, I want to preserve our marriage and avoid future disagreements. Next, I want our marriage to be fulfilling for both of us, where we each feel happy and fulfilled.

I am facing this situation with a lot of confusion and uncertainty about what to do. I feel that any hasty decision could put our marriage at risk, but I also fear that inaction will only postpone a new crisis.

I appreciate suggestions and guidance on the best way to deal with this delicate situation.
