Hi guys. Quick background - found out my exwife was cheating on me in the summer. The divorce process was quicker than I anticipated, and it finalized roughly two months ago.

I want to emphasize that I've been heavily focusing on myself for the majority of this healing process, and I can confidently say I don't have lingering feelings toward my EW. I've been very intentional about weekly therapy, and general "self help". Obviously I miss the life we had together, but for all intents and purposes, she's simply a memory. And her memory no longer causes me pain like it did not-so-long-ago.

In the past month or so, I've been diving headfirst into apps and meeting women in person. I've had some ONS's, and have met some really cool people. The phrase "the best way to get over someone is to get under someone" has really rang true for me.

Recently, I met woman and her and I click in a way I've never experienced before. The time we spend together - outings, conversations, sex, all of it, has been nothing short of magnificent. I'm 30 and I've never met someone like this before. My EW and I never had a fraction of this "spark".

I really like her. And I can picture a future together. And it scares the absolute shit out of me. I have no desire to continue hooking up with other women. She's fulfilling in every aspect of life.

I've been very transparent about my fragile emotional state. After all, despite my seemingly smooth healing process, everything in my marriage happened relatively recently, and so there are still lots of internal things I'm working through. I emphasize to her that I will be a work-in-progress for awhile, and she's completely understanding and cool about it.

I'm not one to just blindly fall for someone without seriously evaluating all the pro's and cons. And honestly with her, I'm struggling to come up with any cons. But I'm also lucidly self-aware of the fact that it's generally not advised to jump into another committed relationship so soon after the death of a decade-long marriage.

She makes me so happy. But because of the aforementioned, I can't help but second guess myself and feel confused. I don't want to let my guard down, and I certainly don't need any unnecessary suffering on top of everything I've been through this year.

Any advice, guys? Lol. What a strange predicament I've found myself in
